Meep Morps [video]
[It's a video! Of a somewhat messy living area, mostly because Lapis has turned anything she doesn't need or want, into fuel for art. Which is what she's got the device filming for, as the main focus is something under a sheet (that honestly has seen better days).
Of course, the owner of the device shows her face and Lapis gives a smile and a wave.]
Hello again, everyone. I've been busy with getting used to this place and finding things to do. [That isn't sex-related.] So I thought I'd get back into mee-- [Oh wait, no one here will get it.] Art. I used to do art back home.
[And she's going to go and uncover that thing she has the device focused on finally showing off... Trash art, kind of cobbled together out of various things she could have found around. So yes, there are some busted sex toys in there. What it is supposed to be? Up to the viewer, it's abstract!]
I call this "A week on Lunatia" since it took me that long to gather everything in it. [It's horrifying to think of how she got the stuff, maybe.] I guess I'm wondering if anyone else around here does art? Or something else like it.

In the trash, of course. [Free supplies! Why pay money when she can dumpster dive?]
no subject
...Can you even get sick?
no subject
And yes, [She makes a face.] I do know now.
no subject
...Like, moss? [Moss grows on rocks, right?]
no subject
[Seriously?]
And I've heard that a friend got sick from food, and I guess if a poisoned creature bit me I'd get sick-ish? I've never actually gotten sick.

Wait, you guys eat?

That'd save me a lotta Chroma, once in a blue moon. [Ba-dum-tish.]
Don't know if I'd wanna give it up for good, though.
no subject
If you're a normal human? I wouldn't suggest that you do it, you need to eat after all.

[More like super DOOFUS.]

[More like a super NEEEERD.]

[Sorry Scout, you're about as super as Lapis is not blue.]

Okay, you wait right there.
[And then he hangs up.
And calls back about two minutes later. He's outside now, and the camera's pointing across the street at one of the apartment buildings in the second district. He fiddles with the angle a little bit, balancing the device just so, and then points at the building.]
Y'see that? Watch.

then jumps again off of thin open-air, changes direction in midair, lands on that railing, then repeats, lands again--
and spins to face the camera. From someone's fourth-floor balcony.
Balancing on that thin rail he throws his arms up in triumph and whoops.]
WOO! I AM THE GREATEST!!
[...bitch, u better hope nobody's home up there.]
no subject
So she gets up and goes to her balcony and...]
So you can jump well. That's not a super power.
no subject
He looks just...so miffed. Think he's special, Lapis ;_; ]
Not everybody can do that.
[Therefore it is.]
no subject
She is going to hold out a hand so he can get off that rail.]
I can fly, so jumping isn't that special to me.
[Now lets not have a smushed Scout end up happening.]
action then [fingerguns]
He sort of huffs again, half rolls his eyes, and swings forward to drop onto the balcony with no fanfare. Of course she's the type to be hard to impress. And he can't look her in the eye, making himself very interested in brushing his shoulder off. Then gestures with head and hand vaguely across the street.]
I left my. My phone thing. Over there. Gotta go get it.
[Ego = deflated. he looks off to a corner, anywhere but at Lapis and double points toward the inside of her apartment.]
Can I like, cut through your place to, uh. Go pick that up?
no subject
[She's not going to tell him no, that would be rude. Also, she's not sure if he could get down the same way he came up, so letting him come into her apartment is fine.
It's a right mess, with junk scattered about and her one piece of art taking up space. Like it would make any sane person question how Lapis could even live here.
ANYWAY, she'll lead the way to the door so she can open it and let Scout head out.]
... It was a little neat though.
no subject
I have fun with it, at least.
[Once through the door, he stops rubbing at his neck and being all awkward, looking back at Lapis like he's gett the nerve up to say something else.]
Uh, listen... Since I'm already out of the house, do you, um. Wanna go do something?
[He clears his throat, straightens his spine and tries to act casual.]
Cause I'm not goin' back there anytime soon, and I got nowhere better to be. So, maybe we could go...I dunno, trash-pickin' or something? For more stuff?
no subject
Oh, um... That's very nice but I already was doing something?
[She's gotta work through the junk she has before she can gather more, also she wanted to try and tidy up.]
But thank you.
no subject
Oh, right. Uh, some other time, maybe?
[He maintains hope of salvaging this. Will he? Who knows.]
