[Kise has been debating whether to post this or no entire morning but then went 'fuck it', he has nothing better to do anyway.]

What do you guys DO around here?

I've been here for some time, maybe two months, and honestly I'm getting bored out of my mind so easily. The chunk of time that was supposed to be "high school attendance" is empty and I have nothing to fill it in with.

[He can't keep asking the guys to play basketball with him, they have their things to do.]

And don't tell me to go to school! That's worse than being bored

So far I've played basketball, like, at any given moment. But you can go so far without an opponent. I've sculpted some glass which was terrifying, took selfies, went window shopping, ate crepes, played every game there is.
I even started following the horoscope and hunting down lucky items and honestly, I'm scared I'm turning into Midorimacchi!! HELPPPP!

Any suggestion will do! I'm up to trying anything, at least once!

Oh! I'm Kise by the way! Kise Ryouta, nice to meet you!

[Kise sits down at the table while Midorima's messing around in the kitchen.]

Oh, I just wandered around the stores in the center. I saw a few types of frog gloves, but these were the cutest.

[He takes the one Midorima put aside and places it on his own hand.]

You had a frog hand pupped back in middle school as well, right?

It was my lucky item once, yes.

[ A very valuable lucky item! He brings out the soup as promised, in bowls. It looks like soup anyway.. ]

[He was taken off guard for a moment because he didn't expect cute frog from someone as stoic as Midorima.]

Oh! Thanks for the meal, Midorimacchi! I'll treat you next time. Uhh- you don't mind omelet, right? That's the only thing I can confidently make.

As long as you don't put natto in it.

[ He doesn't know what Kise is capable of. If he's anything like Aomine, he'll put natto in it just to harass him.

Either way, Midorima settles down to eat. Though he's kind of watching Kise to see if he likes it. Like a guinea pig. Though it may look like he's actually concerned about his opinion, who knows. ]

Wh- who the hell puts natto in an omelet! I promise- just bacon and cheese!

[He's not like Aomine! Well, he is when it comes to basketball, but they are different in everything else! Kise can bet Aomine doesn't even know how to boil eggs, let alone make an omelet.

Kise takes a bite of the food and pauses- something's awfully wrong with this. Try as he might, he can't help but scowl.]

Umm... [he coughs a bit,] a-are you sure you put salt in this, Midorimacchi?

I don't know how you cook.

[ Aomine and Midorima are both monsters of sorts in the kitchen. Midorima puts his spoon down as soon as Kise reacts. Better not try it then. ]

It's the white powder, right?

[He cooks better than this that's for sure!

Kise still looks mildly horrified because his throat is on a chemical fire. Excuse him while he coughs-]

Powder... you [cough] didn't even try it?

Why would I taste food before it's ready?

[ That had raw chicken in it, it wasn't cooked, he couldn't taste it. :| ]

The broth, Midorimacchi, you taste the broth!

[Gods his mouth is seriously on fire. Kise's eyes are really watery.]

C-Can you give me a glass of water? My mouth's on fire.

[ Midorima sighs as he gets up to get him some water, as if Kise is being rude about how cooking. He did his best, he just.. can't figure this cooking stuff out for some reason. He gets him a glass of water with no ice and sets it in front of him, then takes the bowls to dump them out in the garbage disposal. ]

[Kise gulps the water down in one go and, while it still burns, he feels way better.]

M... Maybe you should mark your salt shakers? To make them look different from baking soda?

[He never thought he'd be the one to give advice to anything cooking related but, here he is.]

Aoba is the one who cooks most of the time, I have no intention of labeling his things.

...you can suggest it to him? It would be easier for both. They sell cute spice bottles in shops, you can buy some!

Don't mooch off of others food and it won't be a concern of yours.
