[ If not her, someone else would have seen it for sure. Though she's also bothered by the fact that no one else was chasing after him despite how fast he was going.

At the very least, Weiss isn't going to pretend that she's superior to him or whatever. Her Moon Knight duties don't even cover chasing after people with speed violations. She's not a traffic cop. Her area is more in defence and safety. So, what she says next may end up being an unexpected thing. ]

[ Does this all completely boil down to frozen yoghurt? Did Panty skedaddle and leave Cloud to fend for himself all because of a dessert? Did Weiss just yell at him because of her favourite food of all time?

Yes to all those questions. It's pretty non-sensical, when you think about it. ]

[ Did this all boil down to frozen yoghurt? Yes. Did Cloud take his roommate for an impromptu joyride in a bid to shut her up? Yes. Has Cloud been turned into a frog before? Yes.

Life was non-sensical. And that's exactly what made these days worth seeing through. ...even if it meant being on the receiving end of her pouting. ]

[ The feeling was mutual, in a way. This was normally the time where he would have shrugged, apologized tersely and left it at that. But it's Weiss. And...damn it. While it's not in his verbal vocabulary (yet), her pouting and getting mad was...actually cute. He sighs and shakes his head. And while he doesn't quite smile, his expression does soften a little bit like he's admitting defeat. ]

[ Does he- Is he planning to take her back to the fro-yo place on that? She looks a little hesitant, not because of the speed, but because this is actually the first time she'd ride a motorcycle? Sure, she got on Bumblebee once but they didn't exactly travel for more than ten seconds... ]

[ But she walks closer, anyway, approaching just so he knows not to leave her behind. She hops on, regardless, shifting in her seat before she places a hand on his waist. Is she supposed to hold onto him the same way she did Yang back then? Oh... Would Cloud even be fine with that? Is she fine with that? ]

Should I... [ Wrap her arms around him or what? Why does it feel so awkward to do stuff with him like this? ]

[ Might? Pfft he knows that unless it's a summon or her glyphs, Sköll was their quickest one-way ticket back to the fro-yo shop. Still, if she refused, he would have gone through with it. Normally, being this close to her as she shifts in the deep-curved seat of the bike, would have left him feeling flustered. But something that Weiss would maybe discover about Cloud, was that as far as bikes were concerned? He's probably at his most confident here.

So the hand that's on his waist doesn't bother him. In fact... ]

[ As he pops the kickstand up and is about to instruct her, she'll feel his hand slide down to cover hers, ] Grab on.

[ and if she trusts him as he gives her smaller hand a gentle squeeze, he'll guide that arm around his waist more snug. ]

[ Oh! Well then. If he's comfortable with the idea, then so should she. Whatever worries she might have had are quelled with his lead, and she even places her other around him, too. ]

Okay. Just don't go too fast.

[ Once he feels both arms wrapped around his waist, ~~just don't pull a Panty and start playing with his thigh please? such distract.~~ Cloud will give the engine a couple of revs. Nothing overt, but enough to really feel that rumble beneath them. ]

Right. [ A beat, ] I'm on thin ice as is.

[ And that's all that Cloud was going to say about the topic before the two take off in a similar fashion that he and Panty did. A smooth acceleration, but he reaches a certain point and cruises from there. Slowing down once they get closer towards downtown, obeying whatever traffic there was, not weaving between vehicles like a ~~maniac~~ daredevil. Even though he's composed and focused on riding, it was difficult to ignore how pleasant it felt having her against his back like this.

[ Cloud probably remembers where he passed earlier on, but Weiss gives directions, anyway. She's surprisingly in a better mood, her tone more neutral than angry now. Once they're near the fro-yo place, Weiss gives Cloud a squeeze. ]

I don't know many people- [ ie. none. ] -who actually own a dragon. [ He gestures with a hand as if explaining. But it's out of frame. ~~Should really have this conversation in person, Cloud.~~ ] Where I'm from, we're used to either fighting or summoning them.

If you're curious, I could swing by sometime. [ If he's going to be working with new clients and businesses in the future, may as well! ]

[ This guy's like the kids and other orphans were like when he showed off the hulking machine back home. Albeit far less crass (one kid might have said "damn!") Cloud's not in frame right now because he's showing the machine and sleek finish of jet black metal and crimson highlights. But there's a subtle curl of his lips. Unless it was in battle, he didn't tend to show off much.

But this...this was an exception he could make. ]

Haven't tested that out yet. But if it's anything like Fenrir, it could top out at about... [ Hmm... ] 400 klicks?

A klick's a kilometer, right? 400 an hour... that's so fast. I think I read in some article the record back on my world was like 600, but none of 'em look nearly as sick as that, and they sure as fuck don't hold a bunch'a weapons.

[ And of course, since they're not ripping down the streets, it's much easier to hear Weiss as she gives him directions. The little squeeze to his midsection gives him the signal he's looking for as they roll up the side of a familiar sidewalk. One of those cleaner bots must have already taken care of the spilt yoghurt, because he doesn't seem to see anything. He lets Sköll's engine purr a little bit as they idle before killing it, looking up to the sign. ]

Never had frozen yoghurt before, [ He thinks aloud to himself as he sets the kickstand and swings his leg off the large bike. ]

Oh, right! About that... [ She's a bit sheepish since she hadn't told him before. ]

Tomorrow is my birthday. It would be lovely if I could see your vehicle anytime of the day!

Yeah, up to 400 kilometers an hour. Doubt I'll be doing that in Lunatia anytime soon though.

[ So why spec it that fast? Because you never know when you'll be chasing someone down a highway and having 2 v 1 gun and sword fights. ]
