[ Cloud's already standing outside by what appears to be the side of a road. So when he turns the camera... In frame is a monster-sized motorcycle that somehow manages to look sleek at the same time.

Got it. But as you can see, [ Even though his tone is still rather relaxed, he does get more excited talking about this kind of stuff. ] you're balanced on two wheels instead of four.

It's a heavily modified hover bike too. Just...haven't gotten around to trying the hover mode yet.

[ As Daenerys speaks of horses, carriages and carts, the more she reminds him of Corrin as far as the world they're from. And then she has to drop the dragon at the end! If he weren't so used to seeing them back home, that might have shocked him more. But there's still a broadened look in his eyes. ]

I don't know many people- [ ie. none. ] -who actually own a dragon. [ He gestures with a hand as if explaining. But it's out of frame. ~~Should really have this conversation in person, Cloud.~~ ] Where I'm from, we're used to either fighting or summoning them.

[ Hmm... ]

If you're curious, I could swing by sometime. [ If he's going to be working with new clients and businesses in the future, may as well! ]

It's handsome and if it's as swift as it seems, I can see why you like it so much.

(She doesn't mind taking risks and the thrill of riding on a dragon's back or in a quick car are relished by this queen. Despite the dangers, she might enjoy his motorcycle too. ~~Her councilors would have heart attacks.~~)

I don't own him. He is my son. (The idea of anyone fighting him does not please her.) As long as he is with me, no one need fear him.

(She lays a hand on Drogon's head off-screen, reassuring herself that he is safe.)

I wouldn't mind. (With a small smile, she gives him her address.)

Handsome? [ He can't help softly shaking his head. ] I'm sure it'd thank you, if it could talk. [ It's like his Fenrir back home. A nostalgic feeling. ]

[ Dragon riding's something he's never done before. ... Well, unless you count that one time... ]

Your son? [ Cloud doesn't ask so much in disbelief, but more rhetorically as he draws further parallels to the once Nohrian princess. For some reason, he's getting some serious deja vu. As Daenerys explains how there's little need to fear of Drogon, he nods. ] I see.

Got it. [ The address, rather. ] Guess I'll see you soon, [ Half a beat- ] oh...sorry. I didn't get your name.

I'm not sure what other word to use. It feels...masculine. (Or like a really hot woman who takes no crap from anyone because she can leave them in her dust. Is she overthinking this?

There is nothing like riding a dragon, Cloud. In both the literal and metaphorical sense.)

[ She probably is. But speaking of overthinkers, she's talking to one too. In fact, he chances a glance over his shoulder back to Sköll, giving a soft little hum in thought. ] ... Hm. Maybe.

Daenerys... [ The name falls softly from his tongue as he looks back to her. That'd be hard to forget or mistake for any other. He smiles before nodding with a gentle "Mm." ] Hope to be of service.

[ What is with him and forming acquaintanceships with royalty unknowingly? ]

(When you want to be a hero, you have to overthink. It's part of the guidebook.)

I like your name. (That might seem random, however...) My nickname, given to me at birth, is Stormborn.

(So Cloud Strife is almost a reminder.)

[ She's the second person here to outright say they liked his name. Also a Queen like. What? ]

Really? [ Deja vu. Again. He can't help rubbing the back of his neck when he makes the connection to Stormborn. What an interesting person... ]

Better than the nicknames I've picked up.

(She has a thousand nicknames - Stormborn just happens to be the first.)

I wouldn't mind hearing some of them? I have others too. (Like The Silver Queen, Dany, Silver Lady, Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons, Mhysa, The Dragon Queen etc..)

[ Well... It's only fair. She did give him a nickname of hers. His aren't anywhere near as cool sounding. Which is why he's reluctant at first, until, ]

Spiky's one.

[ Golden Boy doesn't sound so bad. But it comes from Panty, so... ]

(Spiky. That one isn't hard to narrow down and she smiles before she can stop herself.)

Your hair does call for it.

(Uh oh; Panty could mean a lot of things by that.)

How do you keep it like that?

[ When Danaerys smiles, he doesn't take offence to it. Even if he temporarily tucks his chin to the side for a second before looking back to her. He knew the remark about his hair would come up too. But, contrary to popular belief...! ]

My hair's just normally like this. [ A beat. ] For the most part. Gotta keep it well brushed still.

[ His hair is a lot softer than it looks. ]

(He really is charming when he gets shy. Maybe because she doesn't expect that reaction out of him.)

I'm afraid I'll want to touch it. (For science? Research? Mere curiosity? Yes.)

Some called me the Silver Queen or the Silver Lady and that is because of my hair too.

You wouldn't be the first. [ But that's not exactly a "no" either. Cloud's gotten used to people petting his wolf ears without asking already, and he likes that. His hair with permission? She'd definitely get a pass for. ]

The Silver Queen... [ Another woman of royalty. He seems to be running into people like her all the time here. Unless Queen was an affectionate nickname. Who knows! ] The name definitely fits.

[ It does look soft from here... ]

May I? (She will be proper and polite about it. The poor man doesn't need to be molested just so she can touch his hair.)

Do you think so? (Her expression softens and she pulls the thick braids over her shoulder.) I've let it grow since I rode on Dothraki horses in the East. I should cut it. I no longer have any right to my braids.

[ His blush isn't as easy to see through the video feed, but, ] Go for it.

Cut it? [ He pauses, contemplative for a second or two before adding, ] Why?

Then you know what awaits you when we meet. (She grins before looking solemn and glancing down.)

The Dothraki cut their braids when they are defeated.

I see.

[ He could ask so many things, but maybe that's something better left to when they met in person. Given how many worlds were drawn here, not everyone's way of life and rulings were going to be the same. Be that as it may... ]

...I do. (There are good memories entwined in the strands. Cutting them would mean letting go of the past and the bonds she had made.)

They are heavy, but they are almost like a crown.

[ A rather terse suggestion, but there's a very subtle curl of his lips as he says this with sincerity. ]

They look nice. [ That, and she's not back home right now, is she? ]

(Help her, Seven above, he is handsome, isn't he. And genuine. She busies herself with loosening the silver and gold strands with her fingers.)

I will keep your opinion in mind, Spike. (She has a gift for turning that nickname into something far more intimate.)

Good to hear, Daenerys. [ A couple beats, ] I have a couple places to stop by first, [ Businesses he's gauging for the future for delivery shipments. ]

I'll send you a message when I'll be by.

Don't take too long. (Not that she has other plans, but hey. She is royalty and she can be insistent.)

[ A few proverbial roadblocks prevent him from visiting the queen any sooner than the early evening (7 p.m. about?) as Cloud finally makes his way to Daenerys' place. Was he pushing on "too long"? Almost. With his Servant's birthday happening tomorrow, the blond failed to find a proper gift for her. But that didn't mean he couldn't try again tomorrow. That and he had someone to meet.

Sorry for the wait. Be there in about five minutes.

Oh yeah. Sköll was fast. Which meant making up for lost time as he races off to her place, the telltale sound of an engine rumbling in the distance marking his arrival. Propping the kickstand and pulling his sunglasses down to hang around his neck, Cloud takes this time to place his hand atop a panel positioned above his handlebars. If he was going to show Dany what a bike was about, he'd have to make sure it was fueled up, first, the blond filling the machine with a little Chroma.

If the machine didn't catch her attention first, he'd come up to her doorstep shortly enough. ]
