quick question

how can you sleep with wings without squishing them by accident?

i woke up with butterfly wings. while they're very pretty and perfect for someone as cute as me, i don't want to accidentally wreck them.

[ titus switches to video. he is standing really far from the camera and is weirdly out of focus.



or no, actually he's standing pretty close to the camera, whose macro mode struggles and finally snaps into focus. he just happens to be, currently, about four inches tall. (of course, he's also sporting his own set of wings, as well as a pair of antennae.) (and also a tunic made out of a handkerchief, but that's neither here nor there.)

his mouth is moving, but there's not a lot of sound being picked up... (but if kashuu can read lips at all, he's saying "can you hear me?") ]

[Kashuu switches to video as well, and once he looks at the screen... well, give him a moment to realise what's up.

He looks almost the same as usual during Cordis, with the familiar feline features and sleek black fur adorning his body. What's new are the pair of butterfly wings on his back. He blinks, and his cat ears twitches in time with it.

Um? He leans closer to the screen, at a level that's probably not encouraged at all.]

Uh... what?

[Eloquent, he is not.]

I can't hear you?

[ he says "oh, my apologies! just a moment," but actually even if kashuu could read lips he probably wouldn't be able to catch that, since titus glances to the side and then downward as he says it. he draws a stick pin from his yarn sash and waves it around, causing a momentary shimmer of green. then titus replaces the pin, looks back at the camera, and opens his mouth. ]

IS THIS BETTER?

[He watches Titus curiously, wondering what he's about to do. See the stick pin and the waving, which makes him wonder if it's enchanted. The shimmering green seems to suggest it.

Oh god. Kashuu leans backward by reflex, startled by the sheer volume!]

Whoa, too loud! Too loud!

[ he hastily draws the pin and waves it more ]

What about now?

[He leans closer to the screen.]

... A little quiet, but I can sort of hear you?
