[Rin is having a bit of an... issue today.
Since about, oh, three or four months ago he's been tying his hair back, as being in a place like Chroma Village (no relation to anything in Prismatica) didn't exactly allow for much hair maintenance outside of cold water washing and maybe taking a knife to it if one was really desperate. Kaoru had managed to get her hands on some better care products, but that still didn't mean he was going to get needed trips to the barber.
As such a hair tie and a messy low ponytail was about all he could do.
Until today.
When he woke up with big, fluffy, Maine Coon-like cat ears atop his head, making it much more difficult to even get a brush through his shaggy mess, let alone pull it back in a ponytail without causing himself pain.
As such when the video turns on he's got a mass of hair hanging in his face, covering his eyes, and very twitchy cat ears showing his annoyance.
In the background, someone is giggling.]
Can anyone tell me where to get this [an angry point at the Anime Extreme Bangs he's got going on] taken care of? Without gettin' my damn ears cut off?
But you look so cute!
Kohaku... I can't see...
[She doesn't say anything else, but there's another giggle as Rin sighs and ends the video.]

There are a few places in Level 1 that are experts at cutting hair around ears. They'll even thrown in a massage.

[achem]
How expensive are they? I ain't hard up for chroma but I don't wanna pay too much.
[He doesn't even need it styled. His usual look is this but much shorter.]

[Insert a general advertisement for a barber shop with a cheap prize here.]

[He also had fluffy ears.]
Maybe a pet groomer would work?

[huff]
Pretty sure fur is different from hair anyway.

But, perhaps a stylist will know what to do, if having ears is a common phenomenon.

I, uh. I may be able to be of some assistance. I have some experience with your situation.
[There's a pause.]
... But are you sure you want to? I agree, it is rather cute.

I can still be cute and be able to see. I can't do shit like this.
[He even tries pushing the bangs up, but he has nothing to hold them with so it just falls back into his eyes.]

Well, unless you're set on cutting them away you could always invest in hair clips. There are plenty of shops that sell them here. Or these "scrunchie" contraptions if you prefer. I find the former more useful in the kitchen, myself.

I had one, but I lost it ages ago. I've just been pullin' it back with a hair tie. I really don't wanna keep it long, though. I deal with tangles enough when it's shorter.

Alright, alright. Well, if you don't mind letting a stranger do it, I can help. I know how to work around the ears well enough, since I have my own.

[ and... a moment later... the video comes on! ...is he really far away from the camera, though?
in fact, he is not. he's just shrunk down to four inches tall. (he also has butterfly wings and antennae!) ]
I apologize. I am having a rather difficult time adjusting to my own transformation this cycle... Can you hear me?
