Text - Phase Two
Good afternoon, Moonblessed.
For those who missed my previous post, my name is Naoto and I've been busy further developing a project that finally reached its testing phase three months ago. I'm now announcing that it's time for phase two testing and I require several more volunteers. Though previous testers would be preferred, there's no obligation to participate again if you don't want to.
Contact me for further details, but know that it's primarily for those Iris-blessed.
Thank you.

Pray forgive my being forward, but am I to understand that whatever you are testing is meant to alleviate the
[ by the flame is there no way to put this without wanting to die of shame ]
The monthly fever?

So long as I wouldn’t be imposing, I think that it would be easier were I to ask you in person.

[Sister Ophilia will receive a private message shortly with an address.]
I'm willing to answer what questions I can answer.

Naoto? [ She waits a beat. ] It’s Sister Ophilia. May I come in?
action
Come in. Can I get you anything to drink? Water? Tea? Coffee?

Water would be nice, thank you.
[ Her eyes wander around the entranceway, where she spots a number of different shoes hanging around at her feet. ]
Should I be taking off my shoes?
no subject
Alright.
[Moving away from the closing door, Naoto pauses.]
If you wouldn't mind. Make yourself comfortable.
[In the living room, there is a couch, two chairs, and a bookshelf. The room itself decor-wise outside of furniture is minimal, but what is there could be called 'crochet cute'. The pillows are colorful as is the neatly folded blanket resting over the back of one chair. Meanwhile, there are numerous books in alphabetical order, but also sorting fiction from non-fiction and textbooks.]

You have a lovely home, Naoto.
[ But just as they’re not here to discuss height, they’re not here to discuss interior design either. She clears her throat, sits up properly, and gets straight to the point. ]
I had a few concerns about… erm, what it is you’d like for me to test. Might I be able to take a look at it?

[Returning with a glass of water, she place it on the table closest to Ophilia, making sure to get a coaster. Her question has Naoto only slightly raising her brow]
You can. One moment...
[Because she had to go get that.]

In the time it takes for her to fish out whatever it is she's looking for and come back, Ophilia thinks on what she said. ‘We’ and ‘our’—does she live with somebody? Do they know what she’s doing? If they do, are they okay with that? If they don’t, has she ever been caught? Is Ophilia doomed to the same fate?!
She’s so engrossed in thought that Naoto returning takes her by complete surprise. It’s all she can do not to jump out of her seat. ]
Goodness! [ She seems to have jumped a little, though, because half her drink has sloshed out of its glass. Some guest she is. ] I’m so sorry. Did you manage to find it?

I keep them around my workspace. Are you alright, Sister?

[ Naoto means well, but to suffer titles now—when Ophilia’s asking something wholly inappropriate of her—doesn’t quite sit right with her. A representative of the Order should know better. Self-conscious, she tucks a few loose locks of hair out of her face and mops up the mess she’s made with a handkerchief. ]
I’m so very sorry for all the trouble. I was… distracted. [ Her eyes flit to the non-descript box out before her. ] May I?
[ When she lifts up the lid, she finds…? ]

[It was probably strange and Naoto couldn't blame her especially in regards to matters like this. Now, Naoto didn't know if she came from a world where clergy members might restricted when it came things of sexual nature, but she was here now... so maybe not?]
It's fine. [Though if something was on her mind... Naoto nods, signalling a go ahead.]
[Opening the box reveals what could best be described as a first purchase vibrator, gray in color. Not too long, but not too short with a base girth that first-timers could manage.]
I tried to keep it fairly simple and unassuming when not in-use.

Naoto is asking her to test a sex toy.
Naoto is asking her to test a sex toy.
Naoto is asking her to test a sex toy.
She figured as much, given the context, but seeing it is more powerful an image than thinking it is. After having just laid eyes on that, she can barely manage to put her thoughts in order, let alone string a sentence together. ]
Y-you, erm… mean to tell me that it changes? When in use?
[ Naoto doesn’t need to answer the question; Ophilia’s mind does it for her. It fills the blanks with a hundred distracting possibilities, each one conspiring to leave her more red than the last. ]

[ Well, she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t at least a little uncomfortable. That’s not what she’s here to ask Naoto about, though. ]
It isn’t… loud, is it? The noise won’t carry through walls, for instance, or disturb anybody else…?
no subject
[She supposed that was a problem sometimes...]
No, the device itself isn't that loud.
no subject
And before, you mentioned it changing—how would somebody go about, um… making that decision…?

[ They stew in silence for a moment. Eager to break it, Ophilia fakes a cough. ]
I suppose those were all the questions I had for you. When will you be expecting… feedback?
