My fellow Moonblessed,

From my observation of this network, it has become quite clear to me that a great many of you have far too much free time. I imagine that your home cultures, like my own, have some sort of saying about the dangers of idle hands. I do not, of course, mean this as a criticism. I myself am at risk of stagnation. I do, however, have a proposal as to how we might address this dilemma:

Theatre

You see, I have also noticed a lack of artistic representation of those in our unusual position. While the the arts produced by the native populous are, indeed, an interesting insight into their history and culture, it cannot speak to us as our own art would. Thus, I am willing to take initiative in leading the formation and management of our own theatrical company, by and for Moonblessed.

Though we are, naturally, in need of both experienced and aspiring actors for this endeavor, do not think yourself incapable of aiding us if you cannot envision yourself in such a role! We will be equally in need of playwrights, stage, hands, costumers, and myriad other support roles. There is also, of course, the all important role of the audience

And so I urge all of you who are even the least bit curious: contact me. Let us build our place in Lunatian culture together!

Think you'd have plenty of talent to choose from. If the performers I remember are still here, anyroad.
What sort of plays do you have in mind?
The ones the Lunatians put up weren't terrible, unless they've gotten worse.

That is somewhat encouraging. I only hope such individuals are feeling ambitious.
For the moment, I had some productions from home in mind. I Want to Be Your Canary, cheif among them. Or perhaps some story or another about the Zodiak Braves. Of course, I would be open to someone's original material, if it proved worthy.
As for the Lunatian performances I have seen... The less said the better.

I'm afraid it's unlikely I have any talents fit to contribute, but I do look forward to the finished product. It would be interesting to see what sort of productions result from a combination of so many varied cultures.

While I absolutely lack any sort of creative talent myself, I'll gladly vouch my future patronage to any shows! My partner's very fond of opera and musicals, so I have to admit a bias towards anything in that direction!

Worst comes to worst, I could possibly assist with basic sewing duties? I know how to mend clothing, so I'm sure I could expand that to the most barebones of actual making.

Exactly how would your theatre differ from the Prismals?
While I do believe in supporting the arts and creating cultural enrichment opportunities for the Moonblessed,
I have no interest in financing anything tasteless.

The main difference would lie with the stories told on our stage. As I quite clearly stated before, the Prismals tell their stories of this world. We would be telling stories of our own worlds.

I do also flatter myself to think I could offer more in the way of directorial skill than I have seen here thus far.
But, of course, if you do not share this vision then you a free to simply walk away.

I am always in favor of any opportunity that will give more people a chance to experience the arts.

I do not presume to speak for her, but there is actually a magnificent leading lady of the opera here among us whom I have long wished to see on the stage again. If she should choose to participate, I am certain we would be able to put on a first rate show!

I will, of course, offer my own talent as well, which you will doubtless find to be an asset. While I am certainly not on the same level as she, I have been told that my voice is both mellifluous and powerful, and I did recently win a dancing competition back home.

How interesting. I do know many who are interested in theatre, perhaps I can point them to you. Many here are aspire to make their name known as actors and singers.

As for myself, I am able to sew, so I can help with costuming.

I have also noticed that there are parts of Lunatian culture that overlap with a few of ours. Likewise, with other worlds that we come from, even if the names are all different.

Though I am a performer myself, I am currently in no condition to take the stage. However, if you are in need of a designer and tailor for costumes, you will find few who can match my skill.

Ah, another actor! you seem to be a rare breed in these parts.

At the moment, I cannot say for certain that any roles at all are filled. I do hope to be able to please enough interested parties to make such a thing possible, however.

Do you perhaps have a venue you would recommend as a meeting place? I have had a few nibbles, but to bring in those who will actually commit, I believe I will need face-to-face contact.
