(With all of the apologies lately, Daenerys is going to prove to be quite different from the rest. She, for the most part, is looking content, watching something - someone, actually - dipping and diving over her head.)

I was informed that I may acquire wings in time. How might I go about earning them quicker?

(She has long held onto the dream of flight. Now that dream has become a ravenous craving and the young queen longs for it.)

I fall under the control of the Sanguis moon. I had talons, scales, fangs, but sadly I was grounded.

Oh, darn. Here I was getting excited about picking out rings together and finding a nice venue for the wedding. Would you prefer indoors or out?

I think we should have a full Dothraki wedding. They say it is a boring affair if no one dies.

... That might be the first wedding I'd actually be interested in attending.

(Those exceptions never saw her raze King's Landing to the ground, but she is fairly certain they wouldn't hold it against her.)

Men and women join together until another man kills the first and takes his place. They usually treat their women like mares, you see.

So if someone killed all the men, then what - he'd get all the women?

That is how the Dothraki live. The men, at least. If a woman is lucky, she is wed to one of the Khals. However, upon his death, she is placed with other widows and she can never marry again.

... I'm kind of surprised they don't kill the men.

Well at least someone had the guts to do what had to be done.

Small men need to be put in their place.

And their place is in the dirt. Agreed.

Only a great man deserves a loyal queen. Women are taken for granted too often.

I don't know that I've ever heard of an example as extreme as yours back where I'm from, though. Most of the women I know would castrate a dude for trying to control them.

There is much work to be done in the West and the East. I wanted to change those misconceptions between the sexes. A queen can be a fine king, for example.

... This sounds way more political than I really want to get into, but why wouldn't a queen just be a queen?

When she serves two roles for her kingdom. I was saturated with politics at a young age. You won't be able to escape them with me.
