is this anyone else's second big trip offworld?
like. has anyone else here gone through this whole "kidnap and wake up somewhere else" thing
because even if this place is way better than duplicity i would really kind of... rather not? keep popping around in different places.
is this a condition? do i have teleportitis or something fake like that basically.

also, if anyone here knows... uh. jeez. jupiter, neptune, saturn, ren, reverie... actually if anyone here recognizes "venus?" that's probably easier. let me know if you remember me i guess

also also, do piercings heal up when you come here or is that just a devil thing. just curious. it's a hypothetical question i guess.

also also also, does any place around here do piercings cheap? i'm kind of broke. like not hypothetically broke.

I think sometimes, a part of being intelligent is knowing when to leave it up to the experts. That’s always a good thing to keep in mind.

It’s a nuanced thing. I think trying is generally worth it, but it’s more important to know when you’re in over your head. Otherwise, if you keep going, something will go wrong eventually.

Oh, I’m not a scientist. I’m friends with the scientist and have had him explain things to me to the point where I understand the basics but could not give you the actual details. He’s probably the one you want to talk to.

He’s someone I met here. His world seems a little more advanced in terms of what they know about that kind of thing, I think.

Oh, no, I’m human, and I don’t think it’s rude myself. Medieval isn’t really a term we use, but... well. I suppose I should say that my world has phones, telegraphs, cars, and radio, but we haven’t quite invented video yet? I think we’re close, though.

So essentially, it’s far removed enough that this world kind of surprises me still, but I can actually see how you would have gotten from my world’s level of technology to this. For the most part, anyway. I’m still a little leery about the teleporters.
