[After much, much fiddling with the device on his wrist - which at first brougt some interesting flashbacks of a certain other wrist device he was forced to wear one time - Jigen finally manages to get the video feed feature of the thing going, and the first thing that's on the screen is his less than amused face, a cigarette burning between his lips.]

So, this "moonlacing" deal... [He takes a long drag from his cigarette, head shaking for a moment.] Not sure what this place's plan is but they couldn't have picked a worst guy for the job. [The only other person he can think of that would be a worse fit is Goemon.]

Am I really expected to get all lovey dovey with strangers to generate some mystical energy? Yeah, not happening any time soon.

But I should at least introduce myself, since I'm here and all. Name's Jigen Daisuke, and despite these... [He points at the bunny ears that have now replaced his own.] I'm a completely normal human. Well, I guess these have their advantages. I feel like my hearing is more accurate.

( In his defense, the camera app doesn't so much as click or beep, and there is no flash to speak of. It has an advanced retina lens and takes in the light automatically, and she points out the places he can touch and how to upload new photos, as well as where to touch and edit the text fields for the basic information. Age, preferences, and so on. The bio will likely have to wait.

The waitress delivers his coffee and tops Angela's up with a smile before trotting back off, and she'll gather it back to her and add in a bit more cream just in time for him to tease her. )

Hmmm, no, not bloodthirsty. ( And a wink. ) But I do occasionally get quite possessive. And I may bare my teeth if I grow irritated, which hankfully doesn't happen often. I'm quite protective on my own and Sanguis makes that a bit worse, for me. They all affect people in slightly different ways, I think, but the general theme runs about the same. Violent, indulgent, intimate. I'm afraid to say you'll just have to wait and see what happens, for your own effects. They change month to month, as well. Sometimes stronger, sometimes milder.

[Indeed, he's gonna worry about the bio later. He does however erase the one that was auto-generated, so he doesn't get any uneeded attention or questions about it.

When she corrects him about the bloodthristy part of Sanguis, he feels a little color rise to his cheeks. Ah yes, he should have suspected as much. When she mentions she gets possessive he doesn't quite know how to take those news. He just hopes that doesn't mean she'll immediately latch on to him, because he's absolutely not ready for this type of closeness with anyone just yet.]

( That's a good call honestly; don't let the dating apps win, Jigen!! And don't let her win either! That bit of color rising to his cheeks says plenty and her smile is a touch sly, playful in the realization of how easy he is to fluster in nearly every facet. Cute, though...

But she won't latch onto him too terribly, not for a while. Promise. Her possessive behavior is incredibly mild when it comes down to it and she mostly just hugs people to rub her scent on them, which keeps others away from those "marked". No biting just yet, no matter how she teases. )
