Text, UN: xXGalOmegaXx [Forward-dated to charity stuff]

hello everyone. my name is nanami chiaki. i haven't been here very long, but i have a request to make. i know things have been scary lately and people got hurt, but i hope you'll still hear my idea out. it's because so many need help that i want to do this with as many other people as possible.

you see..... i noticed lots of people are doing different things to raise money for charity. especially to help everyone who got hurt. but what if you don't have a lot of chroma to give away, right? or it's not easy for you to get more, right? i think..... the more ways everyone has to help, the better.

so what i wanna do........ is put together a kind of video game tournament.

if people donate lots of prizes, we can have lots of different goals, like...... rhythm game played longest, or adventure game finished fastest. most monsters collected, or cutest monster created. there's so many different types of games! so anyone can play, and they can play however they wanna play and still have a chance to win something. all they need to do is pay an entrance fee, and all the fees we collect can go to helping people.

as for consoles and games, it'd be easiest if people who have those things already let other players borrow them or join them for co-op or versus play. video games are most fun when you play with other people, you know! and it's not like games are one-use consumable items, so.... it'll be fine. everyone will get a chance to play, and all the helpers should get their games back. i think.

...but if there aren't enough, i'll try to get more... no, i'll definitely get more! even if it takes a lot of chroma, i really think we can help this way, so i'm gonna do my best!

......probably.

so.... if you think you can help with prizes or games, or you know you want to play, please reply to this post. i can't do this by myself, so.... i hope it's ok that i'm counting on you all.

Indeed. It will be interesting to see, I think.

Yes, it is. All our months are named after the moons, and I must confess, I am a bit surprised it is not the same here.

Ah, that is actually fairly practical. Our monthsโ€™ names generally have to do with either seasonal happenings or religious festivals, so some months are named after migrating animals you can expect to spot during that month.

The Guardian Moon specifically is named after Saint Seiros, whose feast day is celebrated on the 11th day of the month. She is one of the central figures of the church and was appointed by the goddess to bring peace to Fodlan.

[....goddess, he's kind of glad she can't see his face at that, because Seiros sure... wasn't.

Isn't.]

Seiros had several companions who aided her in her endeavors, so she was not completely alone. Still, I often find myself wondering how well they supported her during her most trying hours.

They should have, yes, and I am sure they tried as long as they were able. However... it can be easy to lose sight of those around you when you are dealing with your own struggles, even if you are doing your best to stay vigilant.

Then again, it was all a millennium ago, and I may just be overanalyzing history and folklore due to events back home.

No, they are not. Hopefully we can all keep that in mind as we move toward the future so that we can prevent our comrades from cracking under that sort of pressure.

At least this world seems... well, comparatively peaceful, outside of isolated incidents like the one we just dealt with. I hope they are not portents of things to come, though...

Yes, that is the way of things. I think there are many people who think they are attempting to make things better, but... perhaps they could choose a better way to do it.

Regardless... yes. That is a good start. I think it's even more heartening that we are all from such different backgrounds, as well, and yet we have still managed to come together.

I believe so, too. There are plenty of people who will keep an eye out for those who are struggling, so it should be fine.
