Yeah. I don't have to tell him; he'll try to do what he thinks I want, all on his own. He knew I wanted these and he knew he could go get them, but I couldn't let him out. So it was bothering him that he couldn't help me.

[This is probably not at all what happened but it's how he's choosing to interpret Star's motivations, anyway. That's not so unusual, right? People attribute human motivations to inanimate things all the time. It's fine. It's probably fine.]
