i've been trying to figure out what people even use this "internet" thing for and it seems like most people just write whatever they want on it, right? that's what it seems like. i saw a bunch of questions and some ads and some introductions.
there's an observatory here apparently. they let you go there and look at the stars at night if you want to. i guess the stars would be different here than they would on earth or wherever else. they have different constellations too which i guess makes sense. different star patterns and different cultural basis for deciding what shapes they look like to begin with.
every place is different. they all do things differently. around here you're supposed to hold hands or hug or fuck and maybe here that's no different than taking your shoes off when you go in the house or saying itadakimasu before you eat. i guess you're supposed to just get used to that. living here means that's just what you're stuck with.
i ran out of cigarettes.
so is that what people do when they decide they need money? just go on here and write "hey i'm out of cash anybody want to moonlace"? like it's a fucking bathroom wall or something.
yeah, i know, or get a job. last i checked you can't get a job in the middle of the night on no notice.
cigarettes. candles. incense. maybe someone who knows how to do calligraphy or draw. guess that's a shopping list that'll have to wait until morning.
[OOC: Please assume that this was posted at some utterly stupid hour in the middle of the night!]

Though I have to say, I am curious. Why would you need someone who can draw or do calligraphy as a part of your shopping list?
no subject
do people go along with it or do you just end up looking like a deviant and an idiot
because i want something drawn
figured that was kind of obvious

i'll moonlace with you! in exchange, though, would you let me ask you a few questions? nothing that touches personal topics! i'm trying to figure something out.

holding someone’s hand certainly doesn’t net you as much as more rigorous activities
it’s enough to get by if you don’t require much in life
so how badly do you need them
?
the cigarettes, I mean
[ boredom is a hell of a thing ]
no subject
it's not like it's an addiction or anything though
i just want them

anyway yeah that's what i used to use it for awhile
basically just saying "i want or need to moonlace come volunteer yourself"
don't need it so much anymore
if you've got misgivings make a few friends and see if you can rely on them for a bit
it helps
trust me on that
no subject
but apparently i have to
how did you find a way around it
i mean so that you don't have to do that anymore

do you need to borrow my birdbox or like get you one...?
also, you could actually ask to hold hands or hug any time you'd like. we're family so it's like not too weird to do that together.
meanwhile i could get you cigarettes, but that's a bad habit jsyk

Do you fight?
I think you have to do it like you're sparring, without intent to hurt for it to work.
I'll spar with you, if you do. :)

that's sort of how i used to do it...?
it wasn't really the same though.
i mean, it didn't get you money, but they definitely kidnapped if you didn't, so. i guess it's more similar than i thought.
anyway if you're still looking i'm down?
i'd just offer you cigarettes but i've only tried smoking once and i nearly died, so.

i would like to think that doing those things you're talking about isn't as common as taking off your shoes
it kind of makes it seem a little cheap if it were, doesn't it?
while i don't think you want help with that
what i can do is offer you a proposition to at least earn demichroma for the other little things you're interested in
like cigarettes, candles and incense
i'm opening up a bath house and i'm always looking for employees who want to work in a warm environment with great benefits
