i've been trying to figure out what people even use this "internet" thing for and it seems like most people just write whatever they want on it, right? that's what it seems like. i saw a bunch of questions and some ads and some introductions.

there's an observatory here apparently. they let you go there and look at the stars at night if you want to. i guess the stars would be different here than they would on earth or wherever else. they have different constellations too which i guess makes sense. different star patterns and different cultural basis for deciding what shapes they look like to begin with.

every place is different. they all do things differently. around here you're supposed to hold hands or hug or fuck and maybe here that's no different than taking your shoes off when you go in the house or saying itadakimasu before you eat. i guess you're supposed to just get used to that. living here means that's just what you're stuck with.

i ran out of cigarettes.

so is that what people do when they decide they need money? just go on here and write "hey i'm out of cash anybody want to moonlace"? like it's a fucking bathroom wall or something.

yeah, i know, or get a job. last i checked you can't get a job in the middle of the night on no notice.

cigarettes. candles. incense. maybe someone who knows how to do calligraphy or draw. guess that's a shopping list that'll have to wait until morning.

Yes, that's exactly what they do. Or they will ask you in the middle of a shopping mall.

Though I have to say, I am curious. Why would you need someone who can draw or do calligraphy as a part of your shopping list?

I don't ask people, but it's completely normal here.

What are you looking to have drawn? Asking as an artist, who is ultimately curious what sort of thing someone who can draw or do calligraphy would be able to produce.

Sentimental, then.

This is within my realm of capabilities, actually. And you probably won't find someone who could produce work more quickly within the city, too.

It might help if you specify what kind of moonlacing you're looking to do. Since it can cover anything from hand holding to well... Sex.

Alright. Totally non-sentimental portraits and calligraphy.

If Chroma is not an option - interesting stories from home is an option. It would depend on how many portraits you need. So I would suppose, your time.

[ Hey, it saves him a bit of Chroma from Stand use if he gets the story directly. ]

[ wei wuxian is going to be very honest: he only read like half of the whole post. ]

i'll moonlace with you! in exchange, though, would you let me ask you a few questions? nothing that touches personal topics! i'm trying to figure something out.

Holding hands beats having a job.

[Also wow a lot of folks like sticking to text.]

So taking care of things like... Cigarettes, candles, incense and fancy writing?

I think the first thing you should ask yourself is how badly do you want the cigarettes
holding someone’s hand certainly doesn’t net you as much as more rigorous activities
it’s enough to get by if you don’t require much in life

so how badly do you need them
?
the cigarettes, I mean

I'm a manga-ka. Stories and interviewing others is a source of inspiration for my work.

It's better than soliciting strangers for hand holding or whatever.

Something like that, and I've seen people mention it on the device too.

[She follows a lot of things even if she doesn't reply to things.]

I've yet to run out, but if you need someone to help you get chroma I don't mind holding hands or hugging.

You could always see if someone would buy it for you?

And basically, yes, or you run into someone you know while you're out and ask them.

My series is in Shounen Jump currently. At home, at least.

Valid question, though. I've met a few who had something similar, but not Shounen Jump.
