[Anyone who knows Haru might hear that there's an odd tone in her voice. It might not be different to the point where it causes concern, but she certainly doesn't sound as expressive as she normally does.

This is because, of course, she's been ordered to do this.]

I've read that there are multiple Moonblessed who have been feeling compelled to follow peoples' orders, yes?

Is anyone aware of a remedy? A fix to the condition? We should try to come up with a solution.

That's right. Nobody's figured out a cure yet, but there's a good chance we know who's responsible.

[ yukari knows, logically, that ren has things under control. he has that field leader tone of voice; one of authority and drive she'd heard from both mitsuru and minako in equal measure. if anyone would be able to best judge if haru was okay, it'd be him.

[She's not all right. He feels placid, weirdly so, but she also recognizes that she's not anywhere close to being all right, becuase this is weird.

She can't say that.] I'm safe, if nothing else. I don't think I'm in any danger.

[ that is definitely not what she asked and if this were video, haru would see her eyes narrow in suspicion. this is just great.

regardless, it's a comfort, however fragile, that she thinks she's safe. ]

But I can't help but worry just a little bit, you know? Hoping you're safe kinda comes with the "friendship" territory.
