voice, un: noir; dated during when people are puppeted
[Anyone who knows Haru might hear that there's an odd tone in her voice. It might not be different to the point where it causes concern, but she certainly doesn't sound as expressive as she normally does.
This is because, of course, she's been ordered to do this.]
I've read that there are multiple Moonblessed who have been feeling compelled to follow peoples' orders, yes?
Is anyone aware of a remedy? A fix to the condition? We should try to come up with a solution.
Thank you.

Do you mean the proprietor of the doll boutique?

I do. I don't know how exactly he's doing it, but that's why capturing him is a high priority. He won't get away with this.

[Is all she says.
But boy, that's an interesting tone of voice.]

I won't be acting alone. My goal right now is to just incapacitate him and restrain him for interrogation, and I know the value of having backup for an arrest.

[It's a genuine question. She, after all, had been trying to be a real helpful hero.
But does he have that same desire? Is it genuine, with him, or is this putting himself in danger to try and atone?]
Re: private
But in this case, I'd help even if I didn't have appreciation to show. People controlling others...I don't know if you saw that interview, but I've said I consider it to be the worst thing you can do to a person. I despise people who rob others of their will, and I wouldn't be content to just sit by and hope the authorities resolve this quickly. Especially with the involvement of children.

[It's a flat answer, because she doesn't know what to make it of it, even without the complications of her difficult mental state. He doesn't sound like he's lying, but it's also a fairly altruistic motivation, and she has trouble ascribing those to him.] ...I can understand why you would hate that.
[She does, too.
She doesn't like being like him.] Be careful, then.

[Not that he really expects her to believe that. He's sure that no matter what he says, she'll assume his true motives are selfish.]
Don't worry, I have no intention of becoming a liability.
