Where do you find dragons here?
baitless: an expression that can serve as either deep frustration or, perhaps, some level of grief. who can say. (i am so tired all of the time.)

I am certain the person who posted this was alluding to the fact that I teach wyvern riding back home. I have no idea how common they are across worlds, but they are somewhat draconic in looks.

Unfortunately, the only thing that would be able to ride my wyvern at the moment would be a mouse.

I have read about them but we don't have them at home. Though we do have some larger reptiles, no dragons or wyvern.

Ah, so it's smaller? I mean it could be cute, but mice don't have a great grip from what I hear.

It's always interesting to hear what our worlds do or don't have in common. But... yes, I have absolutely no idea why she ended up smaller the second we arrived here... I suppose it's actually possible to keep her inside, but it's completely baffling.

Does she prefer to live inside, though? ...Uh, can she talk, I guess?
baitless: a very subtle smile. (ah yes st. cethleann.)

Oh, no, she's not... well, she's about as intelligent as a horse, really. Unless horses can speak where you're from, in which case I apologize for the comparison.

She does seem happy enough, though, given how thoroughly she has claimed the couch for herself.

Horses do speak where I'm from. I'm a deer.

That's pretty cool. I've never heard of someone having a real dragon as a pet.

Oh, I see. That's very interesting, actually. I have a friend from a world where there are only insects, so that's not too new, but it's still fascinating in a way.

I suppose I wouldn't really call them "real dragons," either, given what I've read up on them here. In my world, the creatures you would probably consider dragons are generally referred to as magic beasts.

Only insects, huh? Interesting. Insects where I'm from are the same as here, from what I can tell. I'll have to meet them.

Ah. I'd consider them fantasy creatures at home. Though we have walking and talking reptiles.
