Lunatia is so very different from my homeland. I wonder if there are others who have never seen such things as they have seen here.

To those who have been here for some time, does it ever begin to feel like home? What makes a place home?

I suppose if you spend that long in one place anywhere it’s going to start to feel like home regardless of where it is. Then again, it’s not like this place is actively hostile. You just have the occasional... issue.

These last two months have been kind of a mess, really, between whatever spirits were trying to mess with us in October and the kidnappings last month. I guess any big city is going to have its problems, but those were probably the worst we’ve had in a long time.
