[ Juno noticed that she talked strange compared to most Moonblessed with a more modern vernacular. She took her time to adjust to this ever since she arrived, and now that she's feeling confident enough, she braved the network to send this message: ]
Hello, network. My name is Juno! Very briefly I want to ask, but does anyone here like hunting, or building? Construction work? Now that I'm out of the military life, I have a lot of time on my hands. So I want to try new hobbies! Alas, these two aren't ones I can really enjoy on my own. I can't even find a good place that sells decent firearms! Please help me out, and maybe I can return the favor by trying out your hobby. So you won't have the be the only one!

[Soundwave is no Constructicon, but he knows enough about construction work to not be incompetent at it at least.
Plus, he's bored outside of work. This beats staring at his ceiling.]

[ She can definitely stash more guns in her own home than in an apartment. ]
As we speak, gaining Chroma is my more important priority if I were to take on such a task!
no subject
[He... never really had a house of his own before. Except if Sanctuary Station counts, but that one was more of a home for current Decepticons... And Cosmos.]
I see. I hope you are not having trouble gaining Chroma?
1/1
2/2
... Actually I do
[ She mostly has trouble keeping Chroma, but the amount of replenishing she's getting couldn't keep up with her output. Help her Soundwave, you're her only hope! ]

[Good thing he doesn't mind moonlacing nowadays, otherwise he'll tell her 'good luck'.]

[ She's touched by the openness of people here, willing to help out. But then comes the question ]
How do you plan to help, though?
[ She's aware sex is one of the ways to do it, but she's so reserved with that, that the idea of doing it for Chroma is something she can't help but be defensive about ]
no subject
[As a big alien robot with powers that can't be turned off, his Chroma drains a bit faster than the average Moonblessed- it's best to get his as high as he could.]
We could hold hands. Or hugs.
[He could toss sex in there, but not everyone wants that option.]
no subject
What is your name? I still don't know when and where the proper way to do these is! But I plan to go shopping later, maybe we can hold hands while we walk?
no subject
And yes, we can do that... hold hands while we walk.

[ Her enthusiasm had her add that last bit, though unnecessary. Setheth's mention of fishing just brought back some happy memories that she's actually excited about trying fishing again ]

I would very much like to try fishing now. But I have no idea where to begin! Would you help me? I believe there is a store with fishing equipment at Prismaplace
[ She's a little excited to try new things that her mind immediately goes to thinking of buying her own things ]
no subject
I would be happy to help, yes. I am still getting my footing with it here myself, but fortunately, there are people at the local fisheries who are patient with newcomers. At the very least, I can show you around and give you some helpful tips.

[ She's not familiar with the concept of saints or it's abbreviation, so his username is a very mysterious, big word to her. She couldn't tell what sort of person Setheth is behind the texts, so the anticipation of meeting in person adds to her excitement that leaks through her own words ]
Should I buy my own fishing gear first, or are there equipment for rent?
no subject
In any case, I am at Crystal Beach’s fisheries most evenings when the weather is good, though I haven’t been there as often now that the weather is getting colder. They do let you rent gear, so I would advise doing that and buying your own equipment if you decide you enjoy it:

[ Being a student at Manuela' school, she probably have run into him without knowing it. Or she might have heard his name mentioned around campus by Manuela herself. She wasn't sure, but it won't hurt to ask ]
It's a pleasure to meet you, too! I must say, your name looks familiar. Sir.

Sure. Hunting isn't bad. There's no need to try out any hobbies of mine, though.
Are you asking for a partner or something?
no subject
Perhaps! If one's willing to join me, I wouldn't say no. Alas, I have no weapon for it at the moment. Firearms are so difficult to find in this world!
no subject
not. sorry.]
That's probably a good thing. Anyway, what's your take on bows and arrows? Ever hunted with those?
no subject
Which looks to be the same situation here. The only bows I've seen are for target practice.
no subject
Well, bring one of those target practice bows to this place. You might be able to do something with it.
[a map pops up on her device with this message with an area circled: a forest grove.]
no subject
I'm here and I'm ready!
[ Though her appearance indicates anything but readiness ]
[text | @hot.damn]
cant help much about hobbies but did some hunting in the military and then some to get by if you need any help with that
no subject
[ If she could use emojis right now, she'd show how disappointed she is by this ]
And I would welcome the company! Especially if the forests have been told to be perilous the deeper one travels. But the journey is more enjoyable with someone to endure it with, wouldn't you agree?
no subject
lame.
[But also expected. Makes sense that they wouldn't want to let people run around armed and more dangerous than they already are.]
yeah guess so.
if we cant purchase firearms is getting hunting rifles is off the table then?
no subject
[ With draw weights as low as 20 lbs, she could barely hit or hurt a wild hog with that. ]
I brought a firearm from my homeworld, but I would rather not resort to it for huntingt
no subject
if longrange is entirely off the table then we'll just have to do it the old fashioned cavemen way
or make our own bows and arrows.
not much of an archer tho
no subject
But what do you mean by the caveman way? Should we throw rocks at game?
[ Which honestly sounds fun, as dangerous it is. ]
no subject
could probably manufacture some spears as well
knives and nets work all the same, too
no subject
[ She just didn't have a lot of patience to set up traps that's only good for so little. Being used to rolling with an entire platoon with a couple of tanks on their side, she didn't have much need to practice it either ]
Forgive me for assuming but were you a military person in your world?
text
you can probably find construction job postings around here if you look in the right places
you shouldn't hunt for fun though
no subject
[ Coming from a different world has Juno still adapt to modern customs even now. ]
But that is true, I could look for a chance to work in construction, alas I already have a job. It's not something I wish to do for a living, so I considered it a hobby
