Hello, network. My name is Juno! Very briefly I want to ask, but does anyone here like hunting, or building? Construction work? Now that I'm out of the military life, I have a lot of time on my hands. So I want to try new hobbies! Alas, these two aren't ones I can really enjoy on my own. There are quite a few of us who have that sort of background here, actually. I imagine if you ask around you could easily find people who relate... though, it is certainly a large enough city that you may still have a bit of difficulty finding people you have things in common with.

I would be happy to help, yes. I am still getting my footing with it here myself, but fortunately, there are people at the local fisheries who are patient with newcomers.At the very least, I can show you around and give you some helpful tips.

In any case, I am at Crystal Beach’s fisheries most evenings when the weather is good, though I haven’t been there as often now that the weather is getting colder. They do let you rent gear, so I would advise doing that and buying your own equipment if you decide you enjoy it:
