What can I say? I was raised by bards and I have exactly zero shame

I'm a bard myself, I should know that well enough.

Yeah? Where'd you study? I'll admit I'm probably not as experienced with bardic magic as I am with other stuff but things're a bit complicated, there.

I was mentored. I didn't go anywhere to study. But bardic art and magic are my bread and butter.

I suppose that explains why you seem to be more partial to using your blade?

Yeah... The short version's that I grew up in a temple to a small-time god of music. I got trained a bit as a bard, 'cuz my dad's one, and so're a lot of people in the Seekers, but some stuff happened and I got Called as a Paladin

Interesting. I suppose I was brought up opposite to you. I grew up with the expectation to become a fighter or hunter, but then I turned out to become a bard.

Forced? Nah. Forcing anybody into anything's not Rem's style
my oaths have a lot more to do with upholding individual liberty and casting down tyrants and shit like that
