Y'know, going up in space, visiting other worlds is supposed to blow your damn mind. The idea's that you're exposed to stuff so unreal, so beyond believin' that it's alien to you.

So why exactly are we celebratin' Christmas in space? Feels kinda weird, to be honest. But I guess capitalism and commercialism is a universal concept.

Still, though. Kinda gets me thinkin'. How do you celebrate your holidays where you're from? Don't tell me about Christmas though. We all know about Christmas.

No, to my knowledge people have been coming here only about a year, give or take.
People being here or benevolence?
In my experience the latter doesn't come as often as I'd like. And I'd be happy to be proved wrong.
Former? Well, that's as far back as I've spoken to people. If anyone was there before then I haven't been able to find anyone.
Not willing to believe it's not possible, though.

Desperation? A reason for an action.
It doesn't make the action alright or acceptable.
If you mean their intent... I'm still trying to piece it together.
Sometimes what people think is right isn't. Sometimes what people are taught to be "good," isn't. It depends on the definition of those affected and their desires.
And I sure as hell know I would go home if I had the option, despite the wonderful company I've had here.

Well, I'm still new. I don't really have an opinion on anything yet and I don't want to throw stuff out without thinking and feeling it out first.

You have an idea what you feel.
Feeling, knowing, and fact. They're not the same.

How much of this place is legit?

Complicated. I feel like the normal Prismals don't have anything against us.
Things seem to be face value only occasionally, however.
If that's what you mean. Anything that's offered to you by them seems to never be direct.
The government's sent us to fight for them before.
They'll gift us things that have multiple meanings or effects like they expect us to know versus just telling us.
Good things, bad things, holidays.
We're expected to fall in line and accept how they do things despite personal beliefs or discomfort. I've never seen it be addressed, either that or the things they offer.
