Y'know, going up in space, visiting other worlds is supposed to blow your damn mind. The idea's that you're exposed to stuff so unreal, so beyond believin' that it's alien to you.
So why exactly are we celebratin' Christmas in space? Feels kinda weird, to be honest. But I guess capitalism and commercialism is a universal concept.
Still, though. Kinda gets me thinkin'. How do you celebrate your holidays where you're from? Don't tell me about Christmas though. We all know about Christmas.

But Firialia here is celebrated at the same time as the Feast of Misrule is where I'm from, and well.
How known is your Christmas for public drunkenness and spectator combat?

Humans back home do the usual, Christmas and so on. None of the religious significance still hangs around, though. I personally don't do much for holidays. Carapacians have their own inscrutable chess-based holidays that I'm honestly not sure about. Trolls have a--Well, I hesitate to call it a Christmas analog, that sounds downright xenophobic! They have a Christmas-esque holiday that involves decorating and family and gifts, but it's an old holdover from a universe and planet none of them have been to, so the traditions are a bit loose as far as I'm aware!
[ he's so weird and chipper about this alien bullshit i'm sorry. ]

...it was nice, though I don't exactly miss patrolling the Goddess Tower to direct couples to take things somewhere more private.
The holiday that all of the Church of Seiros's adherents celebrate regardless of location is St. Cichol's Day, which is two days later on the 27th. It's more of a quiet thing, in my experience, though I would imagine there are a number of local traditions I haven't experienced. For me, it is a quiet day to spend time with friends and family, though it is also my birthday, so perhaps that is a given.

Sorry. I ain't versed well enough in alternate realities to give you a theory.
Who is Saint Cichol? What'd they do?

It does rely on the existence of seasons and such, but it seems like everyone has some sort of winter solstice tradition. Exchanges of gifts seem common. On my... Home world, I guess it was, it tended to be very heavy on tavern music as well. Handy for a bard, but also caused a lot of opportunities for those who didn't exactly view the festival as sacred.
More than one village fell to the forces of Wrath that way.
This place's celebrations seem less likely to end like that, thankfully.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Christmas, but if it's similar to this celebration, I feel some fatigue myself. Around this time in my country, we usually observe the winter solstice. It's not unlike these celebrations... however, we don't truly celebrate it. We are a neutral ground, so it is common for different countries to travel to ours and celebrate their holidays before returning home.
Me and my people celebrate New Year's Dawn and two other religious holidays at the end of the year, however - the separate holidays often take up most of the day or the early night while New Year's Dawn encapsulates all of the late night and of course, early morning.

I don't really celebrate any holidays. I didn't even celebrate my coming of age. But then, that sort of thing really only matters to parents. I do enjoy New Years though. It's a time for Hope to shine for the potential of the following year!

There's information on Firalia available and it seems most holidays here have to do with being saved in some sense. From the elements, from other people, etc.
I'm not religious, but I celebrate Christmas when I'm able to. Mostly just an excuse for my small circle of friends to get together.
I'm an eggnog fan. :)

I'm finding the... Christmas? traditions to be not too dissimilar from the holiday back in Remnant. Less religious, perhaps, but decorations and gift giving are fairly on par.
