1. is there a catch to all this?
don't get me wrong but the whole moonlacing thing ?????
and just being here in general i guess
seems like some weird buildup to plot outta left field
can't be any worse than a few games i've played but you know

2. how often do people just leave and come back and can you ever get those memories back?
is there a way to like pass that stuff on?

Basically, yes. Some months are more peaceful than others, especially if you stay in the city. Be careful about the food they serve at public events, since it’s usually enchanted somehow. I don’t think they’re really harmful, but they do things like compel you to hold hands with people.

I’ve been here nine months at this point. It’s kind of hard to believe, but there it is.

I’m not sure if I would call myself an expert, but I guess it is worth noting that this place is... well, I’m not sure if I’d say it’s easy to deal with, but it seems a lot more pleasant than some places people have rolled in from. So you don’t need to be on high alert all the time, you just need to keep your wits about you and you’ll do fine.

Understandable. This is my first world-hopping experience, but I've met a few people who ended up somewhere else before they ended up here. I can't really speak to experience with that, but it doesn't exactly sound pleasant.
