Depends on what do you mean as a 'catch'
moonlance = chroma = money/energy/survival
Tho there's some weird stuff that pops up that messes around with it

you can get some extra demi-chroma and chroma with that photography skill of yours
I'm a part-time model around here so you should be able to find some gigs and earn a nice sum

1. Existing here is the catch. You need chroma to survive even if you're not the type to like a lot of touch.

2. They leave and come in fairly consistently. No one I've known has left and come back, though, so I don't really know a good figure on that or the memory issue. It would be interesting to know, though, now that you've brought it up.

It seems like everyone else has gone over how moonlacing and Chroma work, but I also get the feeling we Moonblessed tend to get hit with things that the locals really don't. It's probably because we produce Chroma and the happenings of the month tend to involve things that are drawn to it, but well, you should be warned. If the locals don't seem to notice something off about what's happening, try asking a Moonblessed instead.

I wondered the same, but as far as I am aware,
generating chroma provides energy resources for their city.

From the reports I read and the information I gathered from interrogating the Prismals,
there have been a few errant incidents from generating too much chroma,
so it seems there are limits to what we should be producing that are frequently surpassed.

I have been here for a good seven months and no "catch" about the moonlacing process has presented itself in any form, so it is likely the process is completely safe. The only event you should watch out for is the coming of your assigned Moonblessing's cycle, and of course, the triple moon period, but either way there is no risk gaining Chroma from anyone!

One of my employees returned with his memories intact last month, so I can safely affirm that not everyone will lose their past recallings after their reinstallment here! Some people would, but it widely depends on what whims fate and luck will subject us to.

As for your help, perhaps I might seek some more publicity for my cafe at a later time, and a skilled photographer might do wonders to attract customers! It is not something I strongly seek at the moment, however.

I do hope this message clears things up a little for you!
