1. is there a catch to all this?
don't get me wrong but the whole moonlacing thing ?????
and just being here in general i guess
seems like some weird buildup to plot outta left field
can't be any worse than a few games i've played but you know

2. how often do people just leave and come back and can you ever get those memories back?
is there a way to like pass that stuff on?

That means you're adaptable. That world became your new "normal". The sudden change into this one will require time to assimilate, but it sounds like you won't have much trouble with it, especially since here is "a little better". You're even making friends already.
