Thank you for the compliment. I've definitely thought informational fliers would be very helpful for new arrivals. But it's never too late to learn - there's more to it if you wish for the full booklet.

What is 'twister' exactly?

Twister consists of a party game. A plastic mat with colored circles on it is lay down on floor, these circles come in four different colors. There's also a spinner, divided into four labeled sections: left foot, right foot, left hand, and right hand. Each of those four sections is divided into the four colors. A person is assigned to the spinner, and it will use it to give each player an instruction of how to move their hands and/or feet next. The game is about body coordination, and players that fall are out.

It's not that different from wrestling - a game that deals with friendly touch. Managing coordination and avoiding bumping into other people. If the players involved want to take it beyond that, it's up to them.

Thank you very much. Your observation is correct, I've also noticed the lack of creativity when it comes to Moonlacing, and many people getting anxious over it. Lunatia offers a variety of activities to take part of, and it's easy to start your own as well.

I assure you that the effects that the moons have on the Moonblessed aren't something you should feel alone about. That aside, wrestling is a good activity to acquire Chroma even outside your moon cycle. It's an extremely touchy sport.

Playing Twister with a large group is an idea I also considered. Do you think it would be successful to start such activity in a public place for everyone to join?

True. I admit I use that method a lot, too, especially during work hours.

The more contact is made, the more Chroma you will get. So wrestling would be the most effective one of the four I've shared. Boredom, on the other hand, is subjective. This is why it is recommended to choose an activity you find engaging - instead of thinking of it as "I must do this to get Chroma", choose with the mindset "I'll do this because it's fun and I'll get Chroma out of it as a bonus".

On one hand, I was also very surprised by the lack of creativity when it comes to Moonlacing. On the other hand, the more I read about the subject, the more I theorize the problem comes from social conditioning and how our minds react to the concept of touching other people.

As the note on the post says, this is only a sample. There's more information on the booklet itself. I must disagree on your concept of "inevitable", however. With a job that provides Demichroma for your daily expenses, which don't even include rent, having a regular hobby that provides you with Chroma keeps you healthy. It won't make you rich, but there's nothing shameful about an average lifestyle. There's also the fact that even when you do count with one or more partners you can be intimate with, they may not always be available, and intercourse isn't exactly an activity people engage 24/7 and is doable in the middle of your shopping trip.

That said, I want to clarify that I'm not against intimacy and I don't want people to completely shy away from the idea; however, it's good to have a variety of methods at your disposal to keep your energy levels in check, and this kind of help is appreciated by new arrivals who are only getting started and don't know anyone. I may create a similar booklet with more intimate options in the future.

I suppose I might add this, given the chance. Where I'm from we have a language spoken primarily through hand contact. Something new to learn while still providing Chroma. [Some even got interested and had fun with it!]
