The stars once showed me the moment of a person's death. As real to me as if I had been standing in the blood. I stood in the same place, at the appointed hour, and watched the blade fall. But she didn't die. Even if by a sliver, the things we know of the future are in the future, and may not come as we know they will come.

Trust me, I died. Everyone dies, some folks just get lucky and don't die from a sword to the gut.
