Question for the network. How do you celebrate birthdays here? Do you mark it based on the days back home, or the date here? I guess I'm trying to figure out how I should count.

Also, if anyone has any good names for cats, I guess I'm open to suggestions. She's a girl, if that helps.

I think a lot of us go by the days here. It would get confusing otherwise, especially for those who arrive in a completely different season then the one they left.

I guess you're right. That's the way it was for me. I left home in winter and got here in early summer. I'm just trying to figure out how to count.

It's a reasonable question to ask. I'm sure there are those who keep track of the days back home for personal reasons. I guess you just need to decide how much effort you want to put into it.
