Question for the network. How do you celebrate birthdays here? Do you mark it based on the days back home, or the date here? I guess I'm trying to figure out how I should count.

Also, if anyone has any good names for cats, I guess I'm open to suggestions. She's a girl, if that helps.

I'm kind of terrible at names, but a good idea for a name would be based on someone you like that isn't here. Or something, if not a person.

Also, I just base it on the date here, personally. It'd be kind of weird to have my birthday fall on a completely different month, in my opinion.

This one doesn't track such things with any particular need, but would suppose that finding a suitable date in this place is simplest. A matter of months or even one year won't be the breaking difference in the entirety of a lifetime.

I actually had this same debate with myself last month, since that's when I turned 19 based on length of time since my last birthday.

I go by the days back home myself, but that's only because there was a sizable gap between the date back home and the date here when I arrived.

Honestly you can probably go with whatever you want as long as you're consistent about it.
