Hey, magic knowledgeable people, how possible is it on a scale of 1 to 100 that people who have a part of what used to be your body (nail clippings, hair, blood, antlers, scales, fur, feathers) could work some kind of magic on you, specifically, with it?

I mean, more how likely do you think it is that people here can do that? Especially as more Chroma's being absorbed back into the world.

It's definitely particularly weird here. I mean, one day you have them, the next they're gone and all of the extras are. Well...extra.

It's a headache, that's what it is. Easier to ignore it than deal with what other headaches it could bring on.

I understand that the moon changes can be a little different from month to month. Maybe you'll get lucky and it won't be a thing you'll have to deal with forever.

Yeah, it can change up, even during the cycle. Last time I was a deer-jinba the whole eight days, this time... who knows.

Doing what I can, I guess. Regular deer only shed once a year. It's just inconvenient here.

Geez, you can say that again. So many inconvenient things here... but convenient for someone, I guess. The Lunatians are used to living like this. Has to be easier when it's always been your normal.

I mean, it's probably convenient for whoever benefits from the Chroma.

As in the city government, and how Chroma works around here. Like, clearly someone figured out how to turn it into currency.

Oh, right. I mean, demichroma was still here, and it's a less powerful? Form of the stuff we give off. Chroma used to be what the money system was about, or so people around here keep saying. I still think it's all weird as weird around here.

It's definitely weird. And a tiny bit creepy, to be honest, that they turn our physical contact into money. It's not something I would have thought of.

There's a reason most people make assumptions about Red Light District stuff when they hear about the Chroma weirdness.

Anyway, earning demichroma isn't bad either, but that gets mined and Chroma gets mined from us. Passively. It's all a headache...

Yeah. It's not that I can fault the rumors, but that part of town here is interesting, to be honest. There's a lot to see.

Oh, Demi-Chroma, right. I sometimes forget about that.

You mean down in Caihong as a whole or the um... actual Red Light kind of part of Caihong?

It's the stuff that gets stored in crystals directly. Also what used to power everything in the city, only they're converting Chroma for it now.

Both. I prefer Caihong, but both are interesting. Different. Humans and Prismals are really different from myself or others from home.

Yeah, while humans are a normal thing for me, the Prismals are something else. A lot of human-similar behaviours? Even thought processes in some limited ways, but way more differences. Even the gods and demons back home who were full animal didn't usually share different species in one body, the way we see people be birds at the same time they're mammals here.

I don't know if that even makes sense... it's super interesting. A weird blend of responses that anything strictly human isn't like.

The Prismals are an entirely new thing. They almost seem to be some cross between human-animal in how they think about things, too. There's hybrids where I'm from. People can be a combination of a couple of species.

I know that's uncommon.
