Hey, magic knowledgeable people, how possible is it on a scale of 1 to 100 that people who have a part of what used to be your body (nail clippings, hair, blood, antlers, scales, fur, feathers) could work some kind of magic on you, specifically, with it?

I mean, more how likely do you think it is that people here can do that? Especially as more Chroma's being absorbed back into the world.

There's two options that stick out to me as ideal for smaller parts:

1) Fire.
2) Flush it down the toilet. It'll stay in its current form, but very few people are willing to trudge underground in tunnels full of urine and darkness for a single feather, weighed down with filth.

Blood washes out easily enough in very cold water, as long as you don't wait for it to set.

The antlers are the only really problematic one, however.

Got it, got it, that's annoying but understandable. Not making my head hurt, at least.

So what if you've got the antlers to get rid of? Or do what? I've got an impressive rack and no idea how I'm supposed to handle it.

I have heard that antlers make useful crafting supplies, if you'd like to go with that.

What do you craft them into? I've only heard of some medicinal purposes, but I highly doubt anything I'm shedding is worthwhile for that.

I'n afraid I've never crafted any myself, but I know they have several of the same potential uses as ivory.

Perhaps jewelry?

Jewelry... I'm not that artistic myself, but that could be doable. I wonder if you could do something to the jewelry to make it so it was safe for just about anyone to hold? Like it won't trace back to you anymore, some kind of double protection charm.

It's possible to enchant objects so that they're untraceable by scrying magic, if that's your question.

I... I guess it is, at this point. Do you know stuff like that, or is it more one of those "I know it's possible" things?
