Hey, magic knowledgeable people, how possible is it on a scale of 1 to 100 that people who have a part of what used to be your body (nail clippings, hair, blood, antlers, scales, fur, feathers) could work some kind of magic on you, specifically, with it?

I mean, more how likely do you think it is that people here can do that? Especially as more Chroma's being absorbed back into the world.

Oh? What magic or weirdness can you do?

I don't know the extent. No one does, or the only one who might isn't forthcoming about it. It wouldn't be wrong to say that wishes of mine can be granted in unexpected and not always welcomed ways.

How interesting! Are you like a wish granter? Or merely the one who makes the wishes?

The one wishing, though I guess that's picking at details that don't matter in the long run. The consequences are mine either way.

Do you have any weird magic of your own?

So, if someone asks you for a wish you could do it on their behalf?

Of course, don't most worlds have some magic in them? Though my world is mostly monsters that roam the land. Nothing quite as spectacular as your ability.

If I wanted the same thing. It's not quite as deliberate as saying, "I wish" and something. Imagine how dangerous something that simple would be.

Are you one of the monsters?

But someone could make you want what they want and your wish would be theirs by proxy. Is that not correct?

No. I'm nobody.

Yeah, they could, in theory. But short of making me love you more than the people I love who aren't here, I don't see anyone really succeeding.

No one's nobody. We're always somebody to someone. But we don't all have to be monsters... and monsters don't all have to look like what we expect to see. Or that's what I'd say about where I'm from. Not so sure about your home, Anonymous.

Making someone love you is easier than you think, so you should be on your guard for that. Lying, manipulation, it does not take much when you target a person. Just a warning, we wouldn't want the wrong wishes granted, right?

I promise you that I am very much nobody, but don't feel bad for me. I have no regrets.

Wow, sounds like I should be worried about what you get up to, or what you've been pulled into. It's not like I don't know that. But I also know the weight of what I'm dealing with, even if no one else does.

Anyway, stop insulting everyone who cares about you. Calling yourself a nobody is something even the most alone out of all of us doesn't truly have a right to do. You're here, and you're existing. You aren't nobody. Being important to anyone in particular or not isn't the same thing.

Do you know the weight? Or do you think you know? There is always something more to lose than you know. Be careful.

If you are not close to anyone. If you are not important to anyone - then you are nobody. It is not an insult. But I promise to stop insulting everyone who cares about me, if there are such people out there.

Yeah, sure. There's more to lose after you're dead, and you've already acknowledged you're out of the reincarnation cycle if your demon ever decides it's time for you to die. When you already know you're going to outlive every person you've ever cared about, and that the ones you've kept alive in spite of what the world wants are still dying because of a selfish decision you made. When you can't understand why some people want nothing more than to lie to themselves and die safely in that lie, that people want to die in the first place, all of this... yeah. I know there's more to lose. There's everything, and there's not a day here or back home I'm not aware of it.

I doubt it. What's importance, anyway? It's measured differently from person to person, human, demon, god... everyone has their own understanding. But whatever, thanks, I guess, if you're going to stop hurting the people who think you're someone just because you don't agree.
