[The video turns on to show a view of the apartments of Level 2 from what seems to be a fairly high vantage point looking down, as if the device is on a roof. While the user isn't visible on camera those familiar with Vanitas will probably recognize the doctor's voice.]

So many of you are fine with accepting that there's no way out of this place. Are you that easily distracted and complacent about being used by the Prismals? Do you just not have anything to go back to? Or maybe you just don't have something that this damned place is keeping you from doing...

[He laughs bitterly before stopping just as abruptly, voice dipping to almost a whisper.]

... Tch. Why am I wasting my breath?

[The video abruptly ends.]

If you believe that so strongly, that the Prismals are using us and mean us harm, then do as you will.

My objection is that you've maligned the rest of us and failed to recognize that many of your fellow imports may have already existed in cages, some far worse than this one could ever be.

If you cannot extend such understanding to others, they will not extend it to you.
