Has anyone seen any stars or constellations they recognize? I've been looking, and I haven't seen a single thing that seems familiar.
[It's a little disappointing, honestly. And she's been here for roughly two months now? How is that even possible?]

Yea, I figured as much. I've been to other worlds, so I figured it'd be like that. But it's just... unfamiliar stars.
[Discouraging to say the least.]
The prime?

It's a word we used back home to mean 'our world'. There's a bunch of planes of existence and they all orbit the Prime Material, except there's a couple that're sort of... occupying the same space, I guess? I really should've paid more attention to this

That's kind of confusing. But I'll take it.
[She's used to things being confusing a good deal of the time, after all.]
How are they occupying the same space? Wouldn't that just cause problems for both planes?

you ever look at stained glass
no wait that's a dumb metaphor
uuuuuuugh okay hang on i have an idea
2/2
Okay so there's the Prime Material plane which contains Eberron, which is the name of the planet and also the dragon that made the planet but that'snot important
sort of like, occupying the same space but not really are the ethereal plane and the shadow plane. it's kind of like looking through a mirror because they're parallel to the Prime and exist kind of
inside it? but not really?
And also there's a bunch of other planes, i think there's fourteen in total? sixteen? no it wasn't sixteen it was fourteen i'm pretty sure
and they all orbit the prime like the map i drew
and there's a bunch of stuff that i... probably should have paid attention to in school
i am really not good at explaining this

I liked the stained glass metaphor, for what it's worth.
And also, that was a lot of explanation that I didn't quite follow. But I've seen enough weird things to know that sometimes you don't really need a logical explanation for everything. Sometimes things just are.

rules and stuff for why the planes act the way they do
hell it was probably taught, I just... forgot it. Sorry. I'm a bard, not a scholar.

At home, my friends and I were trapped in the middle of an intergalactic war, and we ended up piloting sentient, mechanical lions. I still have no idea how any of that works, and I've learned to just accept that sometimes you don't need the why.
Now, we're all subject to the whims of the moons in a neon, 1980's themed planet. Who knows what's going to happen next~

[She wasn't entirely sure if they were technically keeping Voltron things a secret or not, but it seemed pretty innocuous compared to some of the things she'd seen or heard since coming here.]
It's not only my story to tell, but I don't see why they'd have a problem with someone hearing it.

Alright. My place or yours?

Nuts. Well, can't blame a guy for trying.
Got a preference as to where?

And nah. Surprise me?

An address follows.
Meet you there. c;

[And she's just going to... show up at this address, because what is impulse control and a sense of self-preservation? It'll probably be fine. Sure.
And then it occurs to her that she has literally no idea who she's meeting. Oops.]
