Hey fellow Moonblessies. [ Yuzuriha doesn't hide the fact that she's in a sour mood this evening, trying to smile and then swiftly giving that up. ] I absolutely hate not being able to get any good sleep. These days I keep having the same few dreams and at first it was all fine and dandy, I could just act like it never happened, but lately they're really trying to dig at me...

[ There's a moment where she looks away from the screen, a little miffed, and then it becomes evident that she's struck with something -- anyone familiar may know this as Yuzuriha's "brain blast". ]

Someone must've put a curse on me! I mean, it'd make sense after because I -- [ Have already made enemies? That's just one dude and she doesn't pay attention to the rest. ] just attract those kinds of people. It's so hard to live when you're just the ideal girl... [ Queue a dramatic sigh, the back of her hand being placed against her forehead as she leans against her couch. ]

All jokes aside I'm bored and would reaaaaaaaaaally love some company right now. Especially since I doubt I'll be sleeping anytime soon, so! [ She clasps her hands together, now focusing in on the camera with a wide grin. ] What kind of dreams wake y'all up in a fuss?

[ The comment about needing a drink is putting it lightly -- she deserves months of freedom to do whatever the hell she wants to relieve her stress -- so of course it makes her laugh a bit. ]

Well I won't argue about it. So since we need a new subject to talk about... [ Her eyes are half-lidded, her lips curled into a sly smile. ] Tell me about yourself. It sounds like you come from a pretty interesting place, if you've got guys dying in their sleep just because they cheated.

Interesting is one way of putting it... [He grimaces.] It's just an ordinary dump of a city. Way smaller than this place, nowhere near what I'd call interesting.

[Yuzuriha's drink is made first, so Vincent passes it along to her.]

They call the curse the "Woman's Wrath". The corpses look all fucked up... Like they just withered away in their sleep, you know? An old friend from school died that way.

[ She can only imagine what a smaller "dump" of a city looks like, considering she only has this place as a reference. Otherwise it's a small village similar to the one she grew up in, and by the look of him he doesn't seem like someone who'd last in the Edo period this long.

She takes her drink once it arrives and brings it to her lips, eyes drifting to the alcohol for a brief moment as she swallows down her first sip with elegance. ]

That's odd... I'm assuming professionals never confirmed whether or not they ended up in that state due to any possible drainage -- "Woman's Wrath"... [ It's interesting, if not a tad morbid. Not unlike the so called gods that she had faced while on the island. ] I wonder if there's some greater power behind it, especially if it's starting off in a person's dreams. Even in my line of work I've never heard of a technique that could do that.

A greater power? Well, there's Rin, so maybe...

[He mutters to himself, but the sudden thought goes as quickly as it comes, and he frowns and looks confused. Why can't he ever remember the nightmares clearly, and why did he think of Rin?

His own drink arrives, thankfully stirring out of his thoughts, and he takes a drink of the cocktail.]

Never mind. What do you mean by your line of work, anyway? You a nurse or something?

[ A nurse. That's commendable and way out of Yuzuriha's league, especially when given the option to treat the wounds of two people she decides it's best to give up on the person already far gone. But that's neither here or there, a memory of sending off a friend she'd much rather keep to herself for the time being. ]

Nothing like that. [ She chuckles, taking another sip of her cosmo. ] Where there's brawns there's a brain, and in my group that's where I come along; gathering information is my specialty and I relay that out to my comrades so they can do the heavy work. I just pretty much sit there and look pretty.

[ She pauses for a moment, rotating her wrist and watching the drink swirl in its glass before she finishes it with another few gulps. ]

In simpler terms: I'm a kunoichi.

[sheeples]

[She's got the pretty part down, he knows that much, although the term she uses earns a blank look.]

Never heard of a kuno-whatsit before. It sounds like a spy. [That'd be kind of fucked up, but knowing this place, he also wouldn't be surprised. He takes another drink.] I'm a computer programmer back home, it's boring as hell but it pays the bills. [Barely.]

You could say that. [ She brings an index finger up to the rim of her glass, circling it slowly as she watches him drink.

Yuzuriha may not have been charged for those crimes, but she's definitely acted as a spy while training. It was the most necessary form of preparing herself to becoming a personal killing machine, and soon enough she did just that.

But that's a story for another day. ] I've never heard of a programmer before, seems like we've come from different times -- I'm a little jealous~! [ She looks to his glass. ] Is that any good?

[sheeples]

Your time's probably a hell of a lot tougher than mine, that's for sure.

[And he actually feels a little bad for whining, from what little she's told him. He pushes his glass toward her.]

Yeah. It's sweet and sugary. If that's your thing, you'll like it.

[ninpos]

Maybe~. [ She hums lightly, taking the drink offered to her and bringing it up to her lips; swallowing the liquor quickly, burning down her throat, it's a taste that sends a delightful buzz throughout her body. ]

I mean, and don't take this as an insult, but you're pretty scrawny... You'd probably get eaten up real fast. Maybe even by me. [ She then shrugs her shoulders. ] But who cares, am I right? Neither of us gotta deal with that, and to celebrate I think that calls for another round of drinks!
