I wish to engage the services of a skilled visual artist or photographer. Chroma is no object, and my schedule is entirely flexible! (A practitioner of clairvoyance magic with the specific ability to access, extract, display, or otherwise precisely verify or replicate the content of a memory would also be very helpful, though I realize that is a somewhat longer shot.) You mean, for instance, if you got to read a memory about something really incredible happening, you would be inspired to draw a picture of it?

Correct. Of it, or inspired by it. I am able to do both quite easily.

Easily, even! How splendid. Were you already an accomplished artist when you gained the ability to read memories, or was it the other way around? Or did the two skills develop in tandem with one another?

I was already an accomplished artist before this. For quite some time, actually. This additional ability only gave me a bit more references.

I see And yet, are memories rendered in text form truly that much more compelling? Compared with regular books, that is. Or other things not in text form.

Compared to regular books? Yes. It's even better than interviewing someone, to be honest.

I had not even considered interviews as a source of inspiration for visual art... It seems there is much I don't know about the world of artists.

It may depend on the artist, too.

There's a place near the park Level 1, it's this cafe. Can't miss. I do a lot of work there so I know that they don't mind me taking a table to work.

[ titus was at home on level 2 when he posted, but nonetheless, he arrives unreasonably fast (when you can fly, you don't have to bother walking to the elevators!). since he has a selfie as his profile pic, rohan will no doubt be able to recognize him; he's ordered one of the aforementioned honey lattes and is at the counter chatting with the barista. ]

[ Rohan arrives not long after. He knows the location well, and has a straightforward route there, so he makes his way easily. He packs everything he could need. Pens, his sketchbook, and all packed into a portfolio he can carry over his shoulder. He's spinning a pen in his fingers when he enters, noting the individual he had spoken with over the network. He approaches as he's chatting with the barista. ]

Oh! If you are Rohan, then yes. Hello! Shall I add something to my order for you?

I am - no need, though.

[ He glances towards a table, then back towards Titus. He extends his hand towards him to offer it for a quick shake. ]

We can sit there. [ Nods at it. ] I prefer to not have anything until after I work.

[ titus shakes rohan's hand with great warmth!! ]

Oh, I see. Well, I promise I shall not spill anything.

[ latte secured, he sits at the indicated table! ]

[ Rohan kept the entire contact as short as possible while remaining polite. Immediately, he takes a seat and shuffles through his portfolio to get out his sketchbook, which has a few pages filled early on of scenes from around Lunatia - people - humans, non-humans, Prismals, scenery. He gets out a charcoal pencil, as well. ]

I understand you were looking to depict a memory, or something like it.

Ah, yes! Well, I would be happy with any images of my friends; I just want to make sure it's as true to life as it can be. Though, if possible, there is a certain occasion that I would like to depict, when we were all happy and together.

True to life is easy.

[ When he speaks, he doesn't sound like he's being cocky. He's just being...honest. He knows he's good, but he also knows he's earned being thought of as good. Therefore, he doesn't hesitate to say it. ]

If I can know what they look like, at least.
