Which he starts to do, even getting out a "Heyo!" before stopping and looking... like he's in pain?

He grimaces and bends down out of frame for a moment, picking up a very small, floofy-fuzzy bluegray kitten with ears too big for her head and paws moving in the air, not fully struggling to get away but still squirming a bit.]

Mochi, not now...

[He says it softly and looks back, handing the kitten over to someone behind him before turning back so he can actually focus on the camera.]

... Rin Okumura here. I just wanted to pop in and announce that my business license got approved and I'm gonna be openin' Niisan's Teppanyaki on Level Two! It's gonna be right on the beach with indoor and outdoor seatin', lotsa teppanyaki grills and great food!

We're gonna have our grand openin' on the 10th of this month, and since it's so close to Valentine's Day we'll be doin' a buy one meal, get one free deal if you come with a partner!

I'm also lookin' for workers if anyone out there needs a job. We need uh...

[A pause here so he can look at his notes-]

A few more chefs, some hosts and some dishwashers.

I'm really excited for this so I hope to see as many people as possible for the grand openin'!

Heh, maybe. I know this place is gonna keep me pretty busy.

I guess that's normal in a lotta worlds, though it's less... what you said and more stupid shit like what race you are. Doesn't make a damn bit of sense to me but some people really put a lotta importance on it.

Nah. We're all human [more or less] but it's literally like... what country you're from and your skin color. It's fuckin' stupid if you ask me, that people judge others based on that and not like their actions or attitude.

I think so? In my world -- I'm not sure if it goes for everyone, of course. I'm a carnivore so I don't doubt my view is different from a herbivore but we're looked at as scary things quite often.

I've always thought it's my duty as a carnivore to protect herbivores. I don't exactly want to exclude myself from herbivore's lives anymore but I do still think that as carnivores we should try to be examples to other carnivores and--
