1st job [voice; open]
[ He's not used to speaking to an audience he can't see. Then again, he's not exactly great at talking to people he can see, so maybe that makes little difference. ]
I'm looking for goblins.
[ Shocking. ]
They're an abundant problem where I am from. But I haven't seen any here, and many people say they don't have them in the worlds they come from. But I am looking for them anyway. Let me know if you find any, so I can kill them.
[ His tone is mostly blunt, his sentences direct and to-the-point, but anyone with a keen ear might detect that he sounds a little... strained, perhaps. As if the complete and utter lack of goblins is, in itself, a concern. ]
Also, I would like to know how to access the sewers so I can make sure no goblins have taken up a nest there.

I would appreciate your help. I can pay if that's necessary.

No need for compensation. We've seen how the locals handle surprise threats. I can give you an approximate loction, or show you, whichever is simplest.

[And... that's that. He ends communication there, taking the time briefly to make sure that all of his gear is well-secured. It's a redundancy - he had checked every single piece of equipment this morning, just like he did every single morning - but if there's a chance that he may be entering a dungeon-like scenario he needs to be more sure than usual that his weapons and armor are combat ready.
They are, naturally.
So while he may not arrive as quickly, Goblin Slayer is certainly punctual all the same. He's not hard to spot, what with being the only person walking around in full armor from head to toe. As he draws near, one would expect a greeting of some sort. ]
Where are the sewers?
[ Goblin Slayer has never... been good at formalities... ]
Action
He needn't ask whether the heavily armored figure that approaches is who he's to meet, thanks to those words. If anything, he thinks it saves them time. So he nods, turning on his heel. ]
It's not far. This way.
[ With those words, he starts walking, boots clicking against the pavement. ]
Action
He's anxious, perhaps. As numb as he's become to the savagery that goblins partake of when they raid and pillage, he has no desire to see it ever again, even if he expects that to be an inevitability as well.
His eyes flicker to the man's sword; he's seen men wielding large blades before so that isn't anything new, but...]
Did you intend on entering the sewers with me, or simply escorting me to the entrance?
Action
The sounds of his companion's armor shifting with each step assures him that he isn't moving too quickly. But then, he didn't expect to, aware that any mortal accustomed to the weight of such equipment would be strong and able enough. ]
I thought I'd leave that to your discretion. I've navigated the sewers before, and there are those I intend to protect.
[ But as to whether this man needs any assistance with the prospective threat of goblins, he's ill-equipped to guess. ]
