There is a beautiful cathedral where I am from. In mine visitation here within the town proper, I do not recall seeing something quite similar to it.
Is there a church, confessional, or a place of worship here?
If not, how do the rest of you revere your patron deities and cleanse your souls?

still is giving prayer, to be careful... but yes. no know if is hearing.
is a study? if need i can answer! if is useful.

The same, then? There is no way to ask without being so direct about it? Mayhaps she can work it into the conversation later.]
One may consider it something akin to, aye. Although it is less an official study and more mine personal curiosity. I am rather fond of learning new things and there is certainly no lack of things to learn whilst here.

i pray for good harvest! there is many god... husband is praying to great god of mountain.
no subject
What sorts of thing does your husband pray for? Mine homeland has multiple deities as well, though from mine understanding, they seem to be centred around location or region of the world. I suppose they are connected to the cultures found in those places.
no subject
is a little different from human god. way to pray is different. maybe is like how you 's world is.
no subject
All of that makes sense. Although I am surprised that one deity can be responsible for so many things. I confess that I have not prayed to Halone for much in the way of specific things, but rather vague ideas. Protection of mineself, mine family. Guidance. Courage. I wonder if she also cares for the plants and harvest in our region.
When you say that your way to pray is different, what do you mean by that?
no subject
GONTA say that mountain jinba pray just with word and movement. no build building for god or give food to god.
humans is building shrine and giving many offering to pay for prayer fulfillment.
no subject
[And that is putting it mildly. Tradition is a way of keeping people under control. It shouldn't be like that, but that's how Perne has perceived it for years.]
Are you not human then? Or is it that you mean the other humans you have met and known have used buildings and offerings for their deities?
no subject
i is not human, but being raised by human. in human village, i only JINBA. so i know many human things.
no subject
[At least she expects this. No one back home has ever had a problem telling her when she was wrong, after all. Why should it be any different here?]
If you are not human, what are you?
[...Although to be fair, Perne is still under the impression that human might be something akin to 'hyur.']
no subject
i is JINBA. is looking like 👩🐎.
no subject
[No sense in hiding that she knows who she is now. Even if she doesn't feel she properly remembers 'Jinba' coming into it. Or mayhaps Perne simply was unfazed by the discovery.]
We do not have such things where I come from. I have read some of the tomes here, however. You mean to say the Jinba, your people I presume, are of humans and horses combined. Have all of your people been like so?
no subject
[she might be shocked to be called by name, but... she just thinks this person must be smart enough to connect username to... actual name]
we know think of as combination... is one being. but human see as combination. we always like this. once upon a time, humans think we is mountain god! no thinking now!
no subject
Of course. If that is what you wish, I shall attempt to oblige.
I am not aware of such beings in Eorzea, though we do have clans and cultures of beasts, it would seem. I am not terribly familiar with them either, but I should think they are the closest. Evidently, when we met I did not consider to ask. Mayhaps because I had only just arrived and did not know quite what to make of things.
If I recall correctly, I believe you said your husband was also here, aye?
no subject
yes husband is here
can you tell i when you and i meet? i is confusion, apologies!
no subject
We met shortly after I arrived. A bit during the snowstorm. Our paths crossed in the forest outside of the place others referred to as a resort. I am the one with the long ears.
[Although it's hard to say how many long-eared people Konoha has met truly.]
no subject
yes!! no no i remember!
much apologize... USERNAME is not same so i no think of this meeting!
no subject
It is hardly anything you need to apologise for. I would not have anticipated that you could identify me by such an alias.
Have you been well, Lady Konoha?
[There's that 'lady' thing again. Konoha may not be a 'lady' in the traditional sense, and yet old habits are difficult to break. It is unlikely Perne will be breaking them anytime soon.]
no subject
i is most well!
is you well? settle in?
no subject
I am settling well, however. I met someone from mine homeland and he has been of assistance to me. There are several others from mine world and they have all been kind. As kind as you, in fact. I am grateful to all of you.
no subject
same world people is here? is big relief!
no subject
At least, Such is to be mine intention. We all could use every ally we can acquire. Some here have only themselves from their world. I must not shirk this opportunity.
no subject
i away for one year over before i meet other jinba or same world human.
no subject
[She might not think of Ishgard with much fondness, but...]
Then you have not always had your husband here. I am glad that you do now. That is, I assume you two have a good relationship? I hope you do, anyroad. 'Tis what you would deserve.
no subject
[but- ???]
relationship is good! very good! LUNATIA cannot confuse!
