Um, this is a little embarrassing to bring up at this point, but...

I've actually met so many people here in another world. I didn't know how to talk about it to them, so I just acted like we were meeting for the first time. I wonder, was that wrong? Should I reach out to the people that I knew?

But ... a lot of them did terrible things in that other world... would it be better if they never knew what happened?

[ Which is to say, he didn't realize the potential of fun to be had in pretending he knew people from another world when he has only ever traveled to this one. ]

It's pointless to worry too much about what happened or will happen in other worlds. You can find plenty to worry about without making people responsible for things they only did in another sequence.

I think so, too... I don't know what to do. To know someone and have them not know you, to have memories with them but have them not share them...

It makes it feel like all of it didn't matter... you're right...

If the material universe is cruel and uncaring, the greater extent of reality is a nihilistic infinitude of realized and unrealized possibility. It's all very sad. Maybe you can get some of your girlfriends together to watch a movie and eat ice cream.

You don't think any of this means anything... You've not been in this position so you can say these things, but... I'm the one that's suffering from it. [ Boohoo, boohoo!!! He thinks that being anon isn't that fun, though, and thinks he'll just get into posts later and act like he knows people. Mm! Act like a soft-hearted maiden is kind of funny, though. ]
