[ I'm sorry. Brace for incoming ridiculousness. Some of you might recognize the young woman sitting in frame, though there are definitely some new features, namely the addition of a pair of golden dragon wings tucked to her back and just barely visible in frame, but also there's some matching scales growing alongside the back of her arm and hand whenever her hand pops into the frame to gesticulate. ]

HEY, Lunatia. So stop me if you've heard this one before.

[ There is no way that they've heard this specific one before Rapunze-- okay never mind go off.

Yep. Yep. She's in rare form today, for anyone who's never seen her worked up, which. Y'know. At this point of her stay is like. All but two people. There are about fifteen better ways she could have done this, but right now she's all up in these Sanguis-Dragon Day One feels and it's making her even more daring than usual. And also a little impatient. ]

You've been shopping for a new place to live with a friend from home, something for just the two of you! You've been looking for a few weeks. There are a LOT of really great places to live here in the city, especially here on level two, right? And YEAH, it's true you've only lived in one place and with one person for most of your stay. So of course it's going to take some time for you to adjust, but don't you think that you'd still know yourself well enough to know when you've found the right place and were ready to commit to signing a lease? But no matter how many times you tell them that, your friend just keeps asking if you're sure the whole time, and that's very SWEET, but it's like they think you don't know yourself well enough to be sure that you're sure that you know what you know!

[ Uh. She's getting pretty worked up, her eyes might be taking on a bit of a feral glint. Is this really about an apartm-- ]

So what's a NICE way to tell your friend that they're overthinking it too much, and they should just cosign the stupid lease with you already so you can get on with being happy in your new place together?!

[Don doesn't mean to hit video. Trying to text with bear claws however has downsides so when it clicks on there's a guy walking down the street but is it a guy because he's at least 6'8 and built like a line backer and covered with dark brown fur and the mildest snout.

If anyone had ever seen a wookie he looks something like that apart from patches of brown and light brown scales across parts of the fur.]

Just tell them that and then refuse to discuss it further. You want respect go out there and get it.

[Mostly joking. Mostly. Sanguis was always a touchy time but maybe she'd get away with the joke and not end up with a fire breathing princess on a rampage.]

Or! How to twist his arm. Literally. I know a lot of holds, maybe he'd stop trying to make decisions for you and make one himself if you pinned him down for awhile.

[It is kind of sweet though, in a really roundabout sort of way. But there was a not so fine line between respecting boundaries and over respecting them and Punz hadn't exactly been subtle with her intentions.

So is this a friend or a boyfriend? Because this sounds like a couple's issue.

Sometimes, the nicest way you can say something is to be as direct and to the point as possible.

If he knows you well enough, he should realize that if you're this frustrated, that it's important to you.

[As someone who chose to live alone at sixteen, Angela has Opinions on this. Staring down at the camera, her shoulder is on the table, nestling her cheek against a palm.]

It sounds a little bit like they've got some worries they're not telling you about to be polite. Maybe they're worried that the lights are too high up or there are too many stairs?

[ oh boy, this sure is...something. It's something bad, full of many vocal opinions, and he feels like an absolute fool. He tried so hard to not pressure her into anything because of their time difference that he ended up...in a different extreme.

He doesn't care all that much about the rest of Lunatia knowing of his foolishness, it's nothing new. He's pretty sure everyone he knows has seen him beef it pretty hard at some point. But the last thing he wants is to hurt Rapunzel. Ever. ]

Well-- how about, you know... getting stuck in an argument about something you both know you CAN'T agree on? Did you ever think of that? Because I think THAT would be WAY worse.

[She sighs, rubbing both hands over her face, completely unphased by the physical changes.]

What kind of relationship would we have as roommates if he can't even trust me? I think he'd notice if he suddenly found himself the cosigner on a lease he didn't actually sign. The last thing I want to do is break his trust. It means too much to me...!

[Her surprise doesn't last long, that glare and growl pushing buttons she didn't normally have, making her nonexistent hackles raise up with a visible sort of ripple that travels from the base of her spine to the tip at the base of her neck.

Rapunzel draws up her shoulders and purses her lips a bit, not sure if he meant to direct that at HER or not.]

[Despite the aggressive tone she actually means that. Might not be coming across the best right now with all that... Sanguis influence.]

[Despite the thunderous rush of blood in her ears pushing her patience to its limits, Rapunzel already regrets posting this on some level buried beneath all the Sanguis aggression.

This whiplash between her Sanguis traits and her new dragon traits is really messing with her head, but one thing she's sure of whenever the haze clears: This isn't her, to go from zero to one hundred so quickly. Part of her wants to take the post back and apologize for wasting everyone's time, but she doesn't think about it too hard since thinking about it right now at all is definitely making her feel like doubling down on her stance in the video.

She feels like an idiot, and much worse, she feels that guilt gnawing at her insides when she realizes Eugene himself might see this. THAT thought is like a bucket of ice water to the face. MAYBE some part of her wanted him to see it!! Let him in on how frustrated she was!!! But not the rest of the city!

What was I thinking??

Tenten's offer hasn't gone over her head, but clarity's a bitch. FOR THE MOMENT the more aggressive traits have made room for the calm. Um. In a manner of speaking.

So, you know, don't mind it if Rapunzel's response is not what was expected. At first she offers Tenten a touched smile, strained as heck, but touched. It's actually really sweet that she's offering to help and siding with her, but then she just a very loud groan and dropping her head into her hands where she sits.]

[Doubling down is honestly pretty easy right now, because even with those brief moments of clarity between the red haze of the Sanguis moon there's still some genuine frustration here.

Well that does sound like something he'd complain about...

[If this were any other time she'd probably be focused on how cute it is that this person thinks that the concerns are apartment related. It's honestly still kind of sweet when she thinks about the actual heart of the issue.

Unless this is also a metaphor for their relationship: Maybe there are problems between them that he's too polite to mention.]

Honestly she's probably just overreacting. A Lot. Sanguis is proving to be an ADJUSTMENT and she hasn't even gotten close to navigating her way through the emotional whiplash that comes with her new exalted traits on top of that. Ping ponging between having her emotions cranked up to thirteen and back to that tranquil state of being is pretty overwhelming, but even as she reads the text (not realizing who it's from at first) she wishes she'd just talked to him first.

And still, even now she's still warring between the calm, rational response she knows is right, or doubling down on her stance and stubbornly refusing to admit fault.]

That's what I MEANT to do, but I just woke up so ANGRY.

[Also Sanguis talking there. Little miss Glass Half Full is learning some things about herself today.]

If I talk to him like this I might make it worse. Or...

[Rapunzel bites her lip, anger ebbing away the more she thinks about it, because if this IS Eugene, he's being awfully patient about the fact she just went off on him to a bunch of strangers. She's not so deep in that Sanuis temper that it's not a little difficult to stay angry when he's being so understanding- even if there's a part of her that wants to push him to just get angry with her.

But maybe this isn't him after all?

She hesitates between messages before finally hitting send for the rest.]

... What if he sees this before I get to talk to him?

[ Martin ... squints at his end of the video. That's strange, she looks dimly familiar, but he really can't place her? The dragon wings help break that sense of familiarity, at least.

she's just going to assume this girl is normally this aggressive and doesn't think anything of it. the dragon wings aren't even throwing her off, though normally where she's from wings are just special arms and not extra appendages.]

I see, I guess I can kind of relate because I'm in a similar situation. Why don't you just tell him all this yourself? Maybe he just isn't a confident person and needs some encouragement from you that this is something you really really want with him?

Being happy with someone takes work, anyway. I've seen some couples move way too fast and then things get pretty bloody.

Yeah. For some of us, that's really the only way we actually realize what's being said.

[She knows this is a public forum though so she isn't going to go into major detail! Not that she's a particularly private person, but because it's hard to define what her and Legosi are going through.

Anyway she ignores any stares Rapunzel may give her now that she's noticed she's talking to a literal rabbit. It has 0 to do with Moonblessings!!!]

No I'm being literal. [and actually going into less detail of what actually happens!!] Only specific kinds of relationships, though.
