[The camera flips from Nightwing's masked face around to a doorway. The door is lying on the ground, ripped clean off its hinges because Nightwing was in a hurry.

I'm not Superman! I don't want to be Superman! No offense to the big guy, but I've been working my whole life to perfect my acrobatics, my detective work, my martial arts, and now-- all of that-- is just going to waste?

[He is not Superman, but he's starting to feel like Superboy circa five years ago.]

Whatever. Now I have to figure out the exact extent of this stupid, stupid development so I don't accidentally kill somebody.

Who's got some heavier-duty doors I can rip off? This one is a good standard control. Actually, I have no idea what the control for this experiment would look like, just that I want to be gathering a lot of data.

[In other words, who wants a fight?]

That may be true where you're from, but here apparently moons are the supreme celestial bodies.

[She grins toothily, there's a peek of a fang, as if just to show that she's half joking.]

I'm not particular either way. I was raised by Moon Keepers, but my father was a Sun Seeker. I like both just fine. Took a while to switch my sleep cycles, but that's neither here nor there, is it?

I'm sure you could see the folks at the Science Center if you've questions about it. I'd help if I had the mind for it. I'm more of a fighter, myself. The most reading and writing I ever do is when it's time to learn a new discipline... or when I have to write my reports.

[Despite the question she isn't really asking so much as... well, extending the invitation a little further, trying to leave a little less room for doubt about her meaning. She'd definitely meant it as one, but she won't come outright and say so. He'd picked up on it well enough, so this is her way of gauging interest.

Not that that's the only thing of interest to be discussed, but hey, she's Sanguis too, and she's not going to pass up the chance to court another potential partner. The thirst is real and Sanguis' will not be quenched.]
