Through curiosity both morbid and not - what were you in the middle of before bring brought here, and how urgent do you consider returning to it?

Just going by the way things have been around here lately, I won't precisely be surprised if answers trend towards "having a crisis", "dying horribly", or "watching someone else die horribly"; even so, it isn't as though I'm going to judge for such things either way.

Individually they can be dealt with. The problem is that it's never just one; they swarm.

I've generally found that much to be true, though there are likewise a fair few that either can't do it or refuse to. Not terribly fortunate ends for them, either way.

More or less. I'm one of the few people capable of carrying out my work, and I would prefer to not leave it at an assumption that someone will.

Nothing quite so dire. I was overseeing a project that would ultimately be for humanity's benefit - so it's certainly important that I return, but it isn't as though I'm in any sort of imminent danger of dying.
