fourth ☕✨ text (AMA! un: mercy)
Hello, Lunatia! I hope this finds you all well. I'm Dr. Angela Ziegler, if we've yet to have the pleasure. The doctor who owns the Second Nature (Free) Clinic on the beach in level 2.
I have seen a lot of new faces of late and quite the number of questioning entries, as well as some other Q&As, so I thought that I would offer one a little more... medically professional? And from someone who has been here for a year, now.
I'm sure it is quite disorienting here at times and I would like to offer some peace of mind and an open venue to ask anything you'd like, whether it's about this place or its changes, pre-existing medical concerns, how to administer a massage for a partner, what goes into cybernetics, creating a swedish torch as the weather warms up for hiking, or even simply just coffee shop recommendations. Everyone is welcome to try me.
If even posting anonymously is a bit too much, you are free to contact me privately as well.
( ooc: "trauma surgeon, combat medic, former CMO of a peacekeeping organization, prosthetics/cybernetics specialist, and coffee aficionado, AMA!" time! why is blizzard like this she's so much... please feel free to private lock replies to assume messaging her on the side, remember your content warnings in subject titles for Risky Business topics, ask others' permission before threadjacking, and go wild! )

as he should, comin in here talkin abt injecting ppl with wasabi!!!
You were the one who asked what would happen with nitroglycerin in the body! The answer is "it will break down if ingested". It really only works orally or rectally. But there are better solutions; I promise I won't ask you to touch anyone's rear end.
Again.
Also, the concept of spice is a chemical reaction to the receptors in your mouth and irritating only to delicate tissues, injecting it won't do much besides being unsanitary and problem-causing. If you wish to prank someone, it's best to just... stick to oral use.

[.....
If she listens, maybe she can hear him scream in rage and embarrassment. Ten or so minutes later katsuki.exe starts working again.]
Look.
I told you ice lakes are evil.
Are eyes delicate enough?

( That's what you get for talking about stabbing people with syringes and wasabi!!! (The nitroglycerin part is not a concern, clearly.) )
And I told you that it was really all right; far worse things could have happened and I'm only glad neither of us were hurt.
I suppose they would be...? But you could cause serious damage doing that.

dffffffffffffffdsssssssssssssssewa STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!!!
Okay I got another question.

You can both practice at the same time; I'll get something set up to practice on.
Cross my heart, I'll stop teasing. What's your next question?

How do I give someone a really painful massage?

As for that— digging too deep and going "cross-grain". Against the direction of muscle fibers. Done with care, it's beneficial for circulation, but too much force makes it painful.
( Ok he's dead-set on causing some amount of damage but at least a sore massage is better than wasabi in your eyeballs??? Sorry, whoever will be subjected to this. )

When you free?

Goodness me, looks like I'm booked for surgery three days out.
( Angela you haven't performed a single surgery in this place; there are no surgeries. And he likely knows her schedule. She works the mornings to around 1500, then she does as she pleases. )
A couple more hours, as usual.

[Well. He walked right into that one.]
Stop by my place after.
