Hello, Lunatia! I hope this finds you all well. I'm Dr. Angela Ziegler, if we've yet to have the pleasure. The doctor who owns the Second Nature (Free) Clinic on the beach in level 2.

I have seen a lot of new faces of late and quite the number of questioning entries, as well as some other Q&As, so I thought that I would offer one a little more... medically professional? And from someone who has been here for a year, now.

I'm sure it is quite disorienting here at times and I would like to offer some peace of mind and an open venue to ask anything you'd like, whether it's about this place or its changes, pre-existing medical concerns, how to administer a massage for a partner, what goes into cybernetics, creating a swedish torch as the weather warms up for hiking, or even simply just coffee shop recommendations. Everyone is welcome to try me.

Hahaha, my apologies. It seems to be one of the primary concerns.

That is certainly a first. And mildly alarming. But possible, certainly. The changes people already undergo can alter aspects of their anatomy we hadn't considered typically, but I could see something like that happening. I've seen others with digitigrade feet and no other apparent traits before.

I'm sure it was more than just "quite the surprise"; you'll have to look for the bright side, though.
Next time someone tries to grab your rear end on public transit, you can properly frighten them in turn.

It's honestly just... complicated for me. Zombies are a thing where I come from, and a lot of them mutated into WORSE things. Like these long-necked things that spit acid. So for a second I thought I was turning.

But hah. I guess that's true. Is rear-grabbing a thing around here?

I'm sorry for teasing, then; that does sound quite horrible. Wouldn't you need to have passed away or been somehow infected for that to happen...? As far as media rules go, anyway.

I can't say zombies existed as anything more than movie fodder in my when.

And it is sometimes, yes. Most Moonblessed keep an eye out for one another, though, and the Prismals mostly have a high respect of us. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

They didn't for us either - until now. But infected, yeah. I'm supposed to be immune, but it's hard to not think "zombie" at any weird thing that happens to me here.

If it sets your mind at ease, I've not seen hide nor hair of any illnesses in the year I've been here. Some sneezing from pollen and not much else.
