II. (TEXT)
It has been brought to my attention that one should not subsist primarily on pizza and coffee. [what's healthy vitamins and minerals to a demon anyway] Unfortunately, the only real guidance I have on what would be good food to try is the one who introduced me to pizza and a doctor. [who will surely try to make him eat a fuckin beet (or the space equivalent of) or something]
Are there any restaurants or foods in Lunatia that are a must try? Or perhaps you can educate me on what was delicious where you were originally from. I would also be interested in learning to cook for myself, if there are willing teachers among us.

[ Yes he's excited that he got to go on a legit, normal-ass date with his partner. ]
It's hot food and you can get stuff with veg only or meat added. Also there's really spicy broth versions if you're into that. I can send you the address!

I could go for days without eating anything at all and be perfectly fine.

I have never had a fried dumpling. Can you describe it?

I can recommend a couple restaurants that offer lighter, tasty fare, that are also healthy.
[ when u got a tiny tummy now and lost some of your sense of taste you kinda can't carb load all the time. ]
Tea, hot or cold, is a good alternative to coffee, and tastier than water.

What kind of teas would you suggest? I do like a bit of milk or cream in my coffee if that helps.

Vegetables ( beets ) are the best source of nutrients and vitamins along with fresh fruits, and lean white meats and fish, or legumes, make up for protein intake. When you opt for carbohydrates, such as breads and pastas, you want to try for complex carbs instead of simple carbs— whole grains and such. You'll often notice when they're darker in color, to make that easy at a glance.
( she didn't menTION A SINGLE FUCKING BEET, SIR )
If you happen to have any takers for teaching... Let me know? I'd be interested as well. We could learn together. 😘
As for delicious foods, I'm partial to cream-based dishes and cheeses since they feature heavily in the traditional dishes from the country I'm from. There's Älplermagronen which is potatoes and cheesy pasta and apples with caramelized onion, Bűndnernusstorte which is a sort of pastry filled with caramelized sugar and nuts, Zurchergeschnetzeltes which is multiple cuts of meat stewed in mushrooms, cream, and wine— and I could show you my favorite breakfast dish, at the very least. Rösti is shredded and fried potato pancakes filled with things like bacon, onion, apple, and cheese. It's one of the few things I know how to make well. Oh, and sipping chocolate, of course.
During the holidays we have so many spiced cookies and cakes with cinnamon and nutmeg, but my favorite cake... would have to be black forest gateau. It's dark chocolate and cherry with whipped cream.

[you may not have mentioned a beet angela but you did just describe how to be healthy to him aND THATS UNFORGIVABLE!!!!!
ok not really but it isnt as much fun]
My tastebuds have not been stimulated in many years. I am afraid I can offer nothing concrete as to what I would prefer and what I do not. Though the meat dish does sound particularly delicious. And I have found I am fond of darker chocolates.

Granted I would argue that there is quite a bit of food here that doesn't even appear to be real [He's never known processed food before] I suppose the only advice I could impart would be to avoid eating anything neon and if you can eat fruits, vegetables, meats there are certain combinations that are rather enjoyable. My homeland was famous for fruits, vegetables, seafood, spices, and herbs, pasta so I can recommend some of these things to add to your diet.
Eat a grape, that should silence the naysayers.

[also he really just wants to be let back in his favorite bakery that he was temporarily banned from until he broadened his horizons]
I have never experienced seafood before. What would you suggest on that front? As far as grapes go, I would gladly eat one just to taste them. I've never had one.

it's not as unhealthy if you keep it varied
hear people have suggested ramen already
tempura as a side or an add on is a usually a good call if you want something more substantial
no subject
Tempura? Fast food or healthy food makes no difference to me. I'll take recommendations for either. It's not as if I have to worry about gaining weight.

Have you tried pasta and tea yet?

I did eat spaghetti as a child [then he stopped eating for about 20+ years??????] and I have never tried tea. Is it superior in anyway to coffee? And what other pasta dishes would you suggest?

I'm still trying to figure out what most of the places around here are, though, so I'm not sure if any of the restaurants here serve it.

I'd teach you about cooking if you're really interested, though.
no subject
Yes. I have no qualms with simply eating take-out for the rest of my time here, but I would rather learn a skill to retain when we finally leave. Especially given how much free time we have.

If you really want to make something that's delicious but pretty easy, just get four or five types of fruit, cut them all to pieces, and toss them together for a fruit salad!
Or you can mix them with other food types. Strawberry jam goes great on just about any type of bread, from your basic sandwich to topping a cake. And talking about pizza... ham and pineapple. Seriously, try it.

There seem to be plenty of places around here, depends on the variety you'd like to give a try. I would give specific recommendations but food is more of a necessity than a past time for me.
