II. (TEXT)

It has been brought to my attention that one should not subsist primarily on pizza and coffee. [what's healthy vitamins and minerals to a demon anyway] Unfortunately, the only real guidance I have on what would be good food to try is the one who introduced me to pizza and a doctor. [who will surely try to make him eat a fuckin beet (or the space equivalent of) or something]

Are there any restaurants or foods in Lunatia that are a must try? Or perhaps you can educate me on what was delicious where you were originally from. I would also be interested in learning to cook for myself, if there are willing teachers among us.

It can be, although the ramen shops back home would be dedicated to just types of Ramen and not other noodles. It doesn't surprise me it's prevalent; the noodles don't require a lot of ingredients to make, and the broth can be made and kept days in advance.

[ he includes a couple of the ones he does like, noting that one of them also sells barbecued meat. ]

For teas you could have with cream or milk, I would probably go with a black tea like Earl Grey, assam, or wakoucha. Or 'breakfast blends', but you would want to go to a tea shop to sample them.

I like green tea, but it usually doesn't require much in it, if anything.

[ noodles are the universal human equalizer, vergil. ]

Assam and wakoucha are both black teas; assam is strong and a bit maltlike, while wakoucha is lighter and a bit more citruslike.

I was raised on green tea and enjoy it, but I do stick to it for the health benefits. I have a rather particular diet now.

They definitely have something close to the green tea I am used to here. As for wakoucha, I hadn't looked closely, but I could source some, I'm sure.

[ if not him, then hanzo can probably point him in the right direction. there's both a little brand recommendation and then a looseleaf recommendation for green tea; "loose tastes better". ]

It could certainly not hurt it! Do you train every day?

Depending on your preferred kind of training, I could offer some assistance in that.

I'm skilled in the use of the katana and have been using it my entire life. I have done bare hand to hand combat as well, but I am a little less experienced there.

Thank you for that consideration. I think for now, testing the mettle of our blades against each other would be the most productive. It is a rarer weapon where I am from, so it would do me good as well.

There is no time like the present, no?

[ vergil will get a ping to a local outdoor training gym. genji doesn't know what to expect - but given the man says he doesn't need to worry about nutritional value of food in his post, best not to put a roof on it. ]
