[Somebody is looking, well she's still blue but! Her features seem softer, or at least more feminine than before.

Or it's just cause she's been away for a good while, who knows but she's in a good mood all things considered.]

So, hey. I was, I guess busy is the best way to put it? [Because she's not going to explain that she maybe kind of poofed and took a while coming back.] Yeah, busy. But things are cleared up and I feel like I... Missed somethings?

[She's out of the loop like whoa.]

[She can't help but laugh a little.]

I wasn't gone that long, well... I'm not sure how long a month is for humans.

It's a while. I definitely noticed your absence.

A few people have, I'm sorry about that.

I don't usually take so long to reform.

Reform... ?

[Oh yeah, she hadn't explained this to Ren has she?]

It's a Gem thing, basically, when our bodies take too much damage we retreat into our Gems so we can reform our, well. Form. It can also happen when a lot of emotions are felt strongly, I heard of a Gem who poofed from too much happiness once.

Oh.

[That last part was obviously meant to be humorous but Ren frowns with concern.]

You're... alright now?

[Humourous and factual!]

Yes, I'm fine. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't, Ren.

[Pouting.

It's barely noticeable given how his face usually looks, but he is absolutely pouting.]

I can still be worried.

I guess you can.

[She thinks it's adorable how he's worried.]

I can always stop by and you can see that I'm okay, will that help with the worrying?

[He worries about his friends!]

Alright then, I'll be right over.

[She hangs up so she can make her way out of her own apartment to head towards Ren's place.

It doesn't take her long as she knocks upon the door to let him know she's there.]

[Ren flashes a smaller smile and disconnects after her.

Knocking of course gets Tadashi barking excitedly, Ren's quiet voice urging him to calm a bit from the other side before he opens it.]

You are, indeed, in one piece.

I can do a little spin for you, if you want to be doubly sure about it.

[She says that with a grin on her face, as she stays at the door. No going into apartments uninvited after all.]

And you're looking fine too.

It would be nice to know I'm not just imagining things.

[Is he... joking?

He might actually be making a joke.

But he also won't say no to it, either.]

Well, I've been trying to stay out of trouble.

[She chuckles a little at that, but she does also do a quick little turn as well just to be sure.

At his mention of staying out of trouble she can't help but smile still.]

That's good, wouldn't want my favourite neighbour getting into anything bad.

[Adorable.]

Well, trouble does tend to find huntsmen, but this place is usually quiet.

[Usually save for the times it's not, but even with that it didn't seem like Lapis missed much.]

Do you want to come in? I'm sure Tadashi woulde love to see you.

Better then it being not quiet.

[Yeah surprisingly she didn't miss anything too big, thank goodness.]

And I wondered when you'd offer, Ren.

[She'll move to come inside, if Tadashi is nearby she'll happily bend down to give the dog pets.]

Well I can't let my favorite neighbor go back home without spending quality time with Tadashi. That would just be silly.

[And of course Tadashi is more than happy to see her, bouncing about with an excited bark or two. He's getting quite big but is absolutely still a puppy in all that energy.]

[His comment makes her blush, but thankfully Tadashi is so... Doggish to get her attention so she doesn't need to dwell on it, that and she basically said he's her favourite neighbour too.

So as she's petting the dog in an attempt to calm the puppy down a little, she'll talk.]

Very silly indeed, one shouldn't miss some time with such cute fellows.

[Ren is kind enough not to tease about that.

And he likes being someone's favorite neighbor. It's nice to actually be noticed.]

I'm certain he would pout for hours if I just let you leave without saying hello.

I didn't think dogs could pout.

[Is she serious or kidding? Hard to tell as she gives Tadashi a couple more friendly pets before turning her attention back to Ren.]

So... Really nothing happened at all?

They can. It's really pathetic. More so than a human pouting.

[Tada gets all huffy and lays his chin on the floor like the world is the absolute Worst and he is Suffering.]

... nope. Nothing at all.

[He totally didn't get his ass kicked by a possessed Sun Wukong, what are you talking about.]

[D'aww poor dog, Lapis will pay attention to him once she's done with his owner.]

... Okay, if you say so. But I find it a bit surprising that nothing happened at all in the time I was out.

[She only slightly doesn't believe him!]
